Disciplinary Hearing definition

Disciplinary Hearing means adjudications that are heard before the Prison Governor or an Independent Adjudicator where offences against the Prison Rules 1999 or Young Offender Rules 2000 that are alleged to have been committed by the prisoner are dealt with;
Disciplinary Hearing means an administrative hearing initiated
Disciplinary Hearing means a hearing authorized under ch. DOC 303 for the discipline of inmates for misconduct.

Examples of Disciplinary Hearing in a sentence

  • An administrative or disciplinary suspension or disbar- ment order is “pending” if the order has been announced in open court by a state court of competent jurisdiction or by the Disciplinary Hearing Commission, or if the order has been entered by a state court of competent jurisdiction, by the Council or by the Disciplinary Hearing Commission but has not taken effect.

  • This Section must be completed by all those requesting a Disciplinary Hearing.

  • The purpose of the Disciplinary Hearing is to establish whether there are reasonable grounds that the employee has committed the alleged misconduct, and to decide on the appropriate disciplinary sanctions if applicable (see 4.8).

  • An Investigating Officer may be the manager or, if this is inappropriate (e.g. if the manager may need to be called as a witness at any future potential Disciplinary Hearing), an alternative nominated senior member of staff.

  • Please refer to Guidance – Section 7)Where a Disciplinary Hearing is to be convened, the employee will be advised in writing (being given reasonable notice of the date of the hearing), and informed of the allegations to be heard, the right to be accompanied, the names of the Panel members and the names of any witnesses to be called.
