Disciplinary removal definition
Disciplinary removal means suspension, expulsion or other removal from school for disciplinary reasons, including removals pending completion of a risk assessment. It does not include:
Disciplinary removal means an out-of-school suspension, or any other removal of a student from class during which the student (i) is not afforded the opportunity to continue to appropriately participate in the general curriculum; (ii) does not receive the services specified on the student’s IEP; or (iii) does not continue to participate with nondisabled children to the extent they would have in their current placement.
