Discovery Activities definition

Discovery Activities means the Development activities to be performed during the Discovery Term by Galapagos and AbbVie as set forth in the Discovery Work Plan from time to time.
Discovery Activities means the activities undertaken by the Parties to achieve a greater understanding of the Customer’s requirements and elaborate the Configuration Document or Fluent’s proposal.

Examples of Discovery Activities in a sentence

  • Galapagos shall have the right to grant sublicenses under the licenses granted in Section 5.2.2 to Third Party Providers solely to the extent necessary to permit such Third Party Providers to perform Discovery Activities and other Development activities subcontracted by Galapagos in accordance with Section 3.10; provided, that such Third Party Provider sublicense shall comply with Section 5.3.2(v).

  • Each Party shall perform the Discovery Activities assigned to such Party in the Discovery Work Plan (including by providing FTEs in accordance with Section 3.1.5(i)), and shall do so in accordance with the Discovery Work Plan (including the budget set forth therein, as amended from time to time in accordance with the terms hereof (the “Discovery Budget”)) by allocating sufficient time, effort, equipment, and skilled personnel to complete such Discovery Activities successfully and promptly.

  • If both Parties wish to increase the Discovery Budget with respect to Discovery Activities for Corrector Molecules or Potentiator Molecules, as applicable, but the Senior Officers, pursuant to Section 2.5.3, are not able to agree on the amount of such increase, the Discovery Budget shall be increased by the amount proposed by the Party proposing the smaller increase and the Discovery Total Cost Cap shall be increased by the amount of such smaller increase.

  • The JRC shall manage, coordinate and oversee the performance of the Discovery Activities by the Parties.

  • Each Party shall perform or cause to be performed, any and all of its Development activities under each Development Plan, including Discovery Activities, in good scientific manner and in compliance with all Applicable Law.

  • In either such case, each Party shall be responsible for and shall bear its Discovery Cost Portion for all Development Costs incurred by the Parties and their Affiliates in performing Discovery Activities in excess of the then-current Discovery Total Cost Cap (as increased from time to time in accordance with this Section 3.1.6) and up to such increased Discovery Total Cost Cap.

  • In the event that the aggregate Development Costs incurred by AGTC in conducting such activities, if any, were less than the total amount of R&D Pre-Funding budgeted for such Discovery Program, then the remainder of the R&D Pre-Funding budgeted for such Discovery Program shall be used to fund the Development Costs associated with the Pre-Funded Discovery Activities of AGTC under the Discovery Program Development Plan for the applicable Substitute Discovery Program.

  • Within sixty (60) days of the Discovery Program Substitution Date, AGTC shall, if applicable, notify Biogen in writing of the aggregate Development Costs incurred by AGTC in conducting the Pre-Funded Discovery Activities to date under the Discovery Program Development Plan for the Terminated Discovery Program, and shall provide Biogen with copies of records necessary to verify the foregoing.

  • Except with respect to amounts reimbursed by Xxxxx pursuant to Section 2.5.1 (Reimbursement by Xxxxx), Metagenomi will be responsible for all costs and expenses incurred by or on behalf of Metagenomi in the performance of the Collaboration Activities allocated to Metagenomi in the applicable Collaboration Program Plans, including in the performance of all Drug Discovery Activities after the expiration of the Exploratory Research Term.


More Definitions of Discovery Activities

Discovery Activities means the following activities, as undertaken pursuant to a Development Plan during the Discovery Period: (a) the discovery of Voyager Capsids and Collaboration Candidates; and (b) any other non-clinical activities relating to Development, Manufacture or Commercialization of Collaboration Candidates and Products as set forth in the applicable Development Plan.
Discovery Activities means, with respect to a Discovery and Characterization Study Plan, the research activities contemplated by such Discovery and Characterization Study Plan and any associated manufacturing or supply activities contemplated under Section 3 (Discovery Activities).

Related to Discovery Activities

  • Development means any man-made change to improved or unimproved real estate, including, but not limited to, buildings or other structures, mining, dredging, filling, grading, paving, excavation or drilling operations, or storage of equipment or materials.

  • Development Activity means any activity defined as Development which will necessitate a Floodplain Development Permit. This includes buildings, structures, and non-structural items, including (but not limited to) fill, bulkheads, piers, pools, docks, landings, ramps, and erosion control/stabilization measures.

  • Extracurricular activities means: a voluntary activity sponsored by the school or local education agency or an organization sanctioned by the local education agency. Extracurricular activities include, but are not limited to, preparation for and involvement in public performances, contests, athletic competitions, demonstrations, displays, and club activities.

  • Development Work means all work and services necessary or desirable in connection

  • Economic activities shall in principle include activities of an industrial, commercial and professional character and activities of craftsmen;

  • High Risk Activities means activities where the use or failure of the Services would reasonably be expected to result in death, serious personal injury, or severe environmental or property damage (such as the creation or operation of weaponry).
