DNO Licence definition

DNO Licence means an electricity distribution licence granted to a Distribution Network Owner under the Order;
DNO Licence means in relation to each Regulated Borrower the distribution licence as amended from time to time, granted or treated as granted to it by the Authority under section 6(1)(c) of the Electricity Act.

  • Patent License means any written agreement granting any right with respect to any invention on which a Patent is in existence or a Patent application is pending, in which agreement Borrower now holds or hereafter acquires any interest.

  • Licensed IP Rights means, collectively, the Licensed Patent Rights and the Licensed Know-How Rights.

  • Research License means a nontransferable, nonexclusive license to make and to use the Licensed Products or the Licensed Processes as defined by the Licensed Patent Rights for purposes of research and not for purposes of commercial manufacture or distribution or in lieu of purchase.

  • network licence means the network licence, as the same is amended from time to time, granted to Network Rail Infrastructure Limited by the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under section 8 of the Railways Act l993;

  • Intellectual Property License means any license, permit, authorization, approval, contract or consent granted, issued by or with any Person relating to the use of Intellectual Property.

  • exclusive licence means a licence from the proprietor of or applicant for a patent conferring on the licensee, or on him and persons authorised by him, to the exclusion of all other persons (including the proprietor or applicant), any right in respect of the invention to which the patent or application relates, and “exclusive licensee” and “non-exclusive licence” shall be construed accordingly;

  • Generation Licence means an electricity generation licence granted or treated as granted pursuant to section 6(1)(a) of the EA 1989 that authorises a person to generate electricity;

  • IP License means all Contractual Obligations (and all related IP Ancillary Rights), whether written or oral, granting any right, title and interest in or relating to any Intellectual Property.

  • Licencee means any Person licensed under this By-law;

  • FLEGT-licensed means production and process methods, also referred to as timber production standards, and in the context of social criteria, contract performance conditions (only), as defined by a bilateral Voluntary Partnership Agreement (VPA) between the European Union and a timber- producing country under the FLEGT scheme, where both Parties have agreed to establish a system under which timber that has been produced in accordance with the relevant laws of the producing country, and other criteria stipulated by the VPA, are licensed for export by the producing country government. This may also include any timber that has been independently verified as meeting all the producing country's requirements for a FLEGT licence, where a VPA has been signed but the FLEGT licensing system is not fully operational. Evidence from a country that has not signed up to a VPA which demonstrates that all of the requirements equivalent to FLEGT-licensed timber have been met will also be acceptable. CPET will produce further guidance on FLEGT-licensed or equivalent timber in due course.

  • Intellectual Property License Agreement means the intellectual property license agreement substantially in the form attached as Exhibit B to the Contribution and Distribution Agreement.

  • Company Intellectual Property Rights means the Intellectual Property owned or used by the Company or any Company Subsidiary.

  • Third Party License means licenses from third parties governing third party software embedded or used in the Trading Platform.

  • Licensee Know-How means all Know-How that is owned or Controlled by Licensee or its Affiliates after the Effective Date and is necessary in the research, Development, manufacture, use, or Commercialization of the Licensed Products.

  • Company IP Rights means all Intellectual Property owned, licensed, or controlled by the Company or its Subsidiaries that is necessary for or used in the operation of the business of the Company and its Subsidiaries as presently conducted.
