Drought Situation definition

Drought Situation means a situation under which it is determined by April 15, based on procedures set forth in Section 3.D, either that there will not be sufficient Floriston Rate Water to maintain Floriston Rates through October 31, or the projected amount of Lake Tahoe Floriston Rate Water in Lake Tahoe, and including Lake Tahoe Floriston Rate Water in other Truckee River Reservoirs as if it were in Lake Tahoe, on or before the following November 15 will be equivalent to an elevation less than 6,223.5 feet Lake Tahoe Datum;

Examples of Drought Situation in a sentence

  • If a Drought Situation has been determined to exist, such determination shall remain in effect until April 15 of the following year.

  • During a Drought Situation, Fish Credit Water and Joint Program Fish Credit Water shall Spill pursuant to Section 5.C.2 before Non-Firm M&I Credit Water.

  • The portion of Non-Firm M&I Credit Water attributed to conserved water shall be accounted for as a subcategory of Non-Firm M&I Credit Water until it is converted to Fish Credit Water as provided in Section 7.B.4(f)(4), and such conserved water shall not be used when a Drought Situation does not exist pursuant to Section 7.B.3(c).

  • Whenever a Drought Situation exists, Accumulation of Power Company M&I Credit Water or Privately Owned Stored Water may cause Displacement of Fish Credit Water and Joint Program Fish Credit Water in Truckee River Reservoirs other than Stampede Reservoir to the extent necessary to allow Power Company to increase the amount of Power Company M&I Credit Water to the maximum extent possible, without regard to the Base Amounts .
