DSL Service definition

DSL Service or “Digital Subscriber Line Service” the ADSL Service and/ or the SDSL Service;
DSL Service or “Service”). DSL Service is provided by utilizing Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) technology. ADSL is a network technology that utilizes single line service and special modems to provide high-speed data access. DSL Service is asymmetrical in that more bandwidth is delivered downstream to Customer than is delivered from Customer back to the Network. Speeds on the various plans will vary depending on many factors, including, but not limited to, the distance from the local service provider’s central office, Internet congestion, upload and download speed of the destination server. Globalgig will not provision DSL Service if Globalgig reasonably determines that it is not technically feasible over existing facilities that will cause interference problem with existing service. Customer is responsible for providing compatible Customer-provided equipment that is used for connection to DSL Service.
DSL Service means digital subscriber line, a transmission technology ----------- enabling high-speed access in the local copper loop, often referred to as the last mile between the network service provider i.e., an incumbent carrier, competitive carrier or an internet service provider and end user. Included are the various implementations of DSL including ADSL, SDSL, IDSL, RADSL and HDSL.
