Duty Team definition

Duty Team means the team having a bye in a particular round and required to carry out umpiring duties.

Examples of Duty Team in a sentence

  • A Statewide Duty Team consists of a group of Duty Technicians and one (1) supervisor.

  • Teachers, health (particularly GPs and Health Visitors) and other professionals should notify the appropriate Duty Team of a private fostering arrangement that comes to their attention, where they are not satisfied that the arrangement has been or will be notified.

  • If a Provider has safeguarding concerns outside of normal office hours, they should contact the Emergency Duty Team by telephone (or any such number as subsequently provided by the Purchaser, in order to make a safeguarding alert).

  • If there are concerns that a child may be suffering significant harm, the information must be telephoned directly through to the Central Duty Team, (CDT) on 03000 41 11 11.

  • Sunday Duty Team Members shall be limited to five persons except expansion may be achieved with Guild consent.

  • If upon making further enquiries it is clear that the issues cannot be resolved at point of first contact and the young person: ● Is aged 16-17 years of age ● Normally resides at a home address within Kent ● And are presenting with difficulties that are leading to family breakdown / risk of homeless / or have immediate safeguarding concerns Then the first contact officer will refer into KCC’s Central Duty Team (CDT).

  • Monday to Friday 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. The Emergency Duty Team is also available out of office hours or when the Out of Hours support line is closed (Tel: ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇).

  • Any young person presenting as homeless out of hours should be referred to the Emergency Duty Team (EDT) on 0191 5205552 Where the homeless young person is also a parent with a dependent child still in their care there should also be a formal assessment of the needs of the dependent child as a potential Child in Need in their own right.

  • This should be done by telephone to the First Contact and Duty Team.

  • Children’s social care Emergency Duty Team will be able to make a placement for newly arriving unaccompanied young people into a Welcome Assessment House (where beds are available).
