Earned Vacation definition

Earned Vacation means the product of (a) the aggregate number of hours of vacation which Executive is entitled to take during the calendar year in which the Qualifying Termination occurs, and (b) the quotient obtained by dividing (i) the number of calendar days from January 1 of the year in which the Qualifying Termination occurs through and including the date of the Qualifying Termination, by (ii) 365.
Earned Vacation means the vacation time (i.e., the number of weeks or days) a pilot is 16 entitled to use in a vacation year.
Earned Vacation. Employees whose employment terminates prior to the end of a contract year will receive prorated vacation amounts. Under no circumstances, however, will employees be paid for vacation subsequent to termination of employment.

Examples of Earned Vacation in a sentence

  • Employees hired on or after October 1, 1987, shall be entitled to vacation days during the term of this Agreement as follows: Length of Service Earned Vacation Rate and Maximum Allowance Less than 3 years 15 working days accrued at the rate of 1.5 days per completed month of service up to a total of 15 working days per year.

  • Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, a Crew Member with a FMLA qualifying event or who exhausts his sick leave bank while still on sick leave may take Accrued Vacation and/or Earned Vacation, at his option, in order to supplement his FMLA or sick leave.

  • Earned Vacation Time Vacation time shall be earned by twelve-month employees according to the provisions of the Ohio Civil Service Laws and Rules of the Department of Administrative Services.

  • Earned Vacation Leave, Personal Leave and EDOs may be used at any time during the course of the pregnancy, and/or following the birth of the child(ren), in accordance with Policy No. 302: Vacation Leave, and Policy No. 303: Personal Leave and EDOs.

  • Selling Back Earned Vacation Time: The Parties agree to follow the County policy Section 7.505 in effect on the effective date of this Agreement.

  • All Compensation due to Employees shall be prorated as of the Cut-Off Time, other than Accrued and Earned Vacation Pay, which shall be addressed in accordance with Section 10.1(g) below.

  • Earned Vacation time shall be paid to estate of deceased employee at the per diem rate.

  • Earned Vacation is available for use after one-hundred eighty (180) days of employment.

More Definitions of Earned Vacation

Earned Vacation means the value of vacation earned by each employee as a result of remaining employed by Seller as of the end of December 31, 2018 in accordance with Sellers existing policies and procedures, that is not used by the Employee or otherwise paid by the Sellers prior to the Closing. 2018 Earned Vacation shall be reduced by the amount of time off taken by the Employee between January 1, 2019 and the date of Closing.

Related to Earned Vacation

  • Vacation means annual vacation with pay.

  • Vacation Year means the twelve (12) month period commencing on the first day of April in each calendar year and concluding on the last day of March of the following calendar year.

  • Employment Year means each twelve-month period, or part thereof, during which Employee is employed hereunder, commencing on the Commencement Date and on the same day of the subsequent calendar year and each consecutive 12 month period thereafter.

  • Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is absent from work by virtue of being sick or disabled or because of an accident not covered by Workers' Compensation.

  • Annual Bonus shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4(b) hereof.

  • Target Bonus means Executive’s annual (or annualized, as applicable) target bonus in effect immediately prior to Executive’s Qualifying Termination or, if Executive’s Qualifying Termination occurs during the Change in Control Period and the amount is greater, Executive’s annual (or annualized, if applicable) target bonus in effect immediately prior to the Change in Control.

  • Base Compensation means the amount equal to the sum of (i) the greater of Executive’s then-current Annual Base Salary or Executive’s Annual Base Salary as of the date one day prior to the Change in Control, and (ii) the Average Incentive Bonus.

  • Base Salary shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3(a) hereof.

  • Bonus means the bonus described in the Section 2.3.
