Earth Excavation definition

Earth Excavation means removal of quicksand, sand, crushed slag, clay, loam, earth, hard-pan, boulder- clay, old macadam, bituminous or gravel roadway surface, together with removal of old timber, stone-filled or stone abutments and piers, boulders and chunks of old concrete and stone masonry up to a size which can be moved and manipulated by conventional earth moving equipment, and every other class of material except those listed in subsequent definitions.
