Educational Programs or Activities definition

Educational Programs or Activities means a UMA-sponsored location or event, or other circumstance over which UMA exercised substantial control over both the context and the Respondent to an allegation of Sexual Harassment. UMA’s online course environment is explicitly included in this definition.

  • By doing so, individuals who participate in MSM’s Educational Programs or Activities will be enabled to participate fully in the scholarly, research, educational, patient care, and service missions of MSM.

  • Upon receiving a report, UMA will determine whether the reported allegations fall within the scope of this policy, namely whether the allegations, if accepted as true: • meet the definition of Sexual Harassment;• occurred in UMA’s Educational Programs or Activities; and• are against a person in the United States.

  • The Title IX Coordinator may also implement remedies designed to restore or preserve equal access to UMA’s Educational Programs or Activities.

  • As explained below, its application is not necessarily limited solely to ACU’s campus, but extends to its Educational Programs or Activities or conduct that, while occurring elsewhere, impacts the educational or employment environment.

  • Statement Regarding Sex Discrimination under Title IX Salon Professional Academy does not discriminate in its employment practices or in its Educational Programs or Activities on the basis of sex.

  • Officers and other persons employed by the Corporation or an Affiliate, as determined by the Board or the Committee from time to time.

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.
