OEFC fulfills its mandate of servicing and retiring the debt and other liabilities of the former Ontario Hydro by utilizing revenues and cash flows from the following sources: • Outstanding notes receivable from the Province, Ontario Power Generation Inc., and Independent Electricity System Operator, and the interest earned on these notes; • Amounts payable to OEFC pursuant to statute; and • Electricity sector dedicated income.
For the Electricity sector, this estimate represents a limited increase in spending, the amount of which will increase between 2019 and 2030.
