Eligible Charges definition

Eligible Charges means tuition and mandatory course fees, material fees, and registration fees required by an eligible institution for enrollment in an eligible course. Eligible charges also include any late fees charged by an eligible postsecondary institution due to the school district's or department of treasury's failure to make a required payment according to the timetable prescribed under this act. Eligible charges do not include transportation or parking costs or activity fees. For eligible students enrolled in an out-of-state college that is an eligible postsecondary institution, eligible charges must not exceed the lesser of the in-district rate for the community college located in the district in which the eligible student resides or the in-district rate for the out-of-state college in which the eligible student is enrolled.

Eligible Charges means all Charges, after application of all discounts and credits, incurred by Customer and its Participating Entities, specifically excluding: (a) Taxes; (b) Charges for CPE and CPE Services;

Examples of Eligible Charges in a sentence

  • Where a Volume Commitment applies, Customer shall pay Verizon the amount of Eligible Charges required to meet the relevant Volume Commitment within the applicable measurement period.

  • If, at the end of any Contract Year or Volume Commitment Period (as applicable), the Eligible Charges Customer has paid are less than the Volume Commitment, then Customer shall pay an Underutilization Charge equal to 75% of the shortfall (or other percentage detailed elsewhere in the Agreement).

  • Shall be defined as the percentage of Eligible Charges that a Covered Person must pay for certain Covered Services as stated in this Agreement, and after the Deductible has been met and before the Out of Pocket Maximum has been met.

  • For any Diagnostic and Preventive Services which are covered under §7.7.1 of this Agreement, Company will pay 100% of Eligible Charges if the Services are rendered by a Participating Provider.

  • After twenty (20) visits in a Plan Year, Company shall pay fifty percent (50%) of Eligible Charges.


More Definitions of Eligible Charges

Eligible Charges means those charges incurred by an Insured Employee or Insured Dependent for which coverage is available under the terms and conditions of the Policy. Eligible Charges for PPO expenses are based on negotiated fee schedules; Eligible Charges for non-PPO expenses are based on the Usual and Customary rate as determined by the Company.
Eligible Charges means all charges (including any charges for early termination of a Service Commitment or Subminimum Volume Commitment), after application of all discounts and credits, incurred by Customer, specifically excluding: (a) Taxes; (b) charges for CPE, CPE Services and Software; (c) charges incurred for Services where Verizon or Verizon Affiliates act as agent for Customer in its acquisition of Services; (d) non- recurring charges; (e) Governmental Charges; (f) other charges expressly excluded by the Agreement. Services-specific charges that are excluded from Eligible Charges are set forth in the Agreement and/or in the pricing section of the product-specific URL provided to Customer in the Agreement. Whether charges are Eligible Charges does not depend on which Verizon Provider is providing the Services. Charges of the same type, incurred by Participating Entities and subject to the Agreement, are treated as Eligible Charges for purposes of satisfying the Customer Signatory’s Volume Commitment(s). Customer Signatory (not Participating Entity) remains responsible in all respects for any failure to meet any Volume Commitment.
Eligible Charges. Shall be defined as the portion of charges made to a Covered Person for Covered Services rendered which are payable to the Provider under this Agreement. For a Participating Provider, the Eligible Charges shall be the reimbursement amounts agreed to between the Company and the Participating Provider. For a Non-Participating Provider, the Eligible Charges for covered medical Services rendered by a provider who is not a Participating Provider, shall be limited to the lesser of (a) the actual charge made by the provider, or (b) in the United States, the Medicare Participating Provider fees in the geographic area where the Service was rendered; or (c) in Asia, the lesser of the amounts billed or the fees most recently contracted by the Company at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Manila, Philippines, or (d) elsewhere, the Medicare National Standard Fee. For a Non-Participating Provider, the Eligible Charges for covered dental Services shall be the lesser of (a) the actual charges made by the provider or (b) the usual customary and reasonable charge, as determined by the Company, for the dental Service in the geographic region in which that Service was rendered.
