Ellevest Debit Card definition

Ellevest Debit Card means the Ellevest MasterCard debit card which is issued by the Bank in the name of the Cardholder for carrying out of all Card Transactions from an account held with Ellevest, as provided for in these Membership Terms and Conditions.

  • Your Ellevest Debit Card is issued by the Bank pursuant to a license by Mastercard International Incorporated.

  • If you initiate a transaction without presenting your Ellevest Debit Card (such as for mail order, internet or telephone purchase, a Prefunded Check purchase or an ACH debit purchase), the legal effect will be the same as if you used the Ellevest Debit Card itself.

  • Tell us immediately if you believe your Ellevest Debit Card and/or PIN has been lost or stolen, or if you believe that an electronic fund transfer has been made without your permission.

  • If you opt into the Roundup Program, each settled (i.e. fully completed) purchase transaction made with your Ellevest Debit Card will be rounded up to the nearest whole U.S. dollar.

  • In your communication with us, please provide the following information: ● The account name, account number, and last four digits of the Ellevest Debit Card number, if applicable; ● A description of the suspected error or the transfer about which you are unsure, why you believe there is an error, or why you need more information; ● The dollar amount of the suspected error; and ● The date of the suspected error.

  • International transactions made using your Ellevest Debit Card will be converted to U.S. currency according to the rules and regulations of the card network.

  • Consistent with applicable law, you may use your Ellevest Debit Card with your PIN to perform most routine transactions on the Bank Accounts that are accessible by your Ellevest Debit Card, such as to: ● Make cash withdrawals ● Obtain your most recently available account balance ● Pay for purchases at places that have agreed to accept the card Some of the above services may not be available at all ATMs or locations.

  • We may charge a fee to use your Ellevest Debit Card at an ATM within the United States or internationally to make a point-of-sale purchase in accordance with our Schedule of Fees below.

  • If you do not use your Ellevest Debit Card for an extended period, defined by Ellevest as 120 days, or we believe the card may be lost/stolen or is being used improperly, it may be canceled for security reasons and will be unusable.

  • You may, however, be assessed a fee by the card association, for example, MasterCard, for using your Ellevest Debit Card at an ATM or making a point-of-sale purchase.

  • Debit Card means a card issued by the Financial Institution that allows the holder of the card to deposit cash and/or Instruments or withdraw cash from the Account through an ATM, authorize Transactions on the Account through an ATM, and that operates like an Instrument to purchase goods and services from merchants.

  • Payment card means a credit card, charge card, debit card, or any other card that is issued to an authorized card user and that allows the user to obtain, purchase, or receive goods, services, money, or anything else of value from a merchant.

  • Credit card means any card, plate, coupon book, or other credit device ex- isting for the purpose of obtaining money, property, labor, or services on credit.

  • Credit Card Account means the Account of the Cardmember opened with Maybank for the purpose of this Agreement;

  • Smart Card means a Debit Card that has an embedded integrated circuit that can process data and protect the cardholder from fraudulent use.

  • Card Account means the account maintained with the Bank in respect of the card;

  • Credit Card Processor means any servicing or processing agent or any factor or financial intermediary who facilitates, services, processes or manages the credit authorization, billing transfer and/or payment procedures with respect to any Loan Party’s sales transactions involving credit card or debit card purchases by customers using credit cards or debit cards issued by any Credit Card Issuer.

  • Direct Debit means a payment service for debiting a payer’s payment account, where a payment transaction is initiated by the payee on the basis of the payer’s consent given to the payee, to the payee’s payment service provider or to the payer’s own payment service provider;

  • Client Account means the unique personalised account of the Client consisting of all Completed Transactions, Open Positions and Orders in the Trading Platform, the balance of the Client money and deposit/withdrawal transactions of the Client money.

  • Client Accounts means accounts of Clients (i) that are Controlled by an Access Person and (ii) in which no Access Person has a substantial proportionate economic interest; provided that, the Client pays a management, advisory or any other similar arms-length fee to the Access Person and the beneficiary of the Client Account is not an Immediate Family member of an Access Person.

  • SIM Card means the subscriber identity module (a card containing identifying information) which enables a Handset to access the Network.

  • Principal Cardholder means a Cardholder who has been issued with a Principal Card;

  • Credit Card Receivables means each “payment intangible” (as defined in the UCC) together with all income, payments and proceeds thereof, owed by a Credit Card Issuer or Credit Card Processor to a Loan Party resulting from charges by a customer of a Loan Party on credit or debit cards issued by such Credit Card Issuer in connection with the sale of goods by a Loan Party, or services performed by a Loan Party, in each case in the ordinary course of its business.

  • Account Manager means a Person that acts as an agent and attorney-in- fact to buy or sell Swaps via the SEF operated by BSEF in the name and on behalf of another Person. An Account Manager may also be a Participant.

  • Card means any card or other account access device we issue for the purpose of accessing your account.

  • Data Processing Equipment means any equipment, computer hardware, or computer software (and the lease or licensing agreements related thereto) other than Personal Computers, owned or leased by the Failed Bank at Bank Closing, which is, was, or could have been used by the Failed Bank in connection with data processing activities.

  • Credit Card Agreement means the open-end revolving credit agreement between a Cardholder and Bank governing the Account and Cardholder’s use of the Credit Card, together with any modifications or amendments which may be made to such agreement.

  • Additional Cardholder means the person you have authorised to use a prepaid card connected to your account, who you agree is authorised to undertake transactions on your behalf and who is also subject to these terms and conditions

  • Accounts Receivable Subsidiary means one Unrestricted Subsidiary of the Company specifically designated as an Accounts Receivable Subsidiary for the purpose of financing the Company’s accounts receivable and provided that any such designation shall not be deemed to prohibit the Company from financing accounts receivable through any other entity, including, without limitation, any other Unrestricted Subsidiary.

  • Customer Account means an account carried by a Participant on behalf of a Customer.

  • Billing Account is the checking account from which all Service fees will be automatically debited.

  • Private label credit card means any charge card, credit card, or other instrument serving a similar purpose that carries, refers to, or is branded with the name or logo of a vendor and that can only be used for purchases from the vendor.

  • Credit Card Issuer means any Person (other than a Loan Party) who issues or whose members issue credit cards or debit cards, including, without limitation, MasterCard or VISA bank credit or debit cards or other bank credit or debit cards issued through MasterCard International, Inc., Visa, U.S.A., Inc. or Visa International and American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Xxxxx Xxxxxxx and other non-bank credit or debit cards, including, without limitation, credit or debit cards issued by or through American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. or Discover Financial Services, Inc.

  • Credit Card Guidelines means the respective policies and procedures of the Account Owner, as the case may be, as such policies and procedures may be amended from time to time, (a) relating to the operation of its credit card business, which generally are applicable to its portfolio of revolving credit card accounts and in each case which are consistent with prudent practice, including the policies and procedures for determining the creditworthiness of credit card customers and the extension of credit to credit card customers, and (b) relating to the maintenance of revolving credit card accounts and collection of credit card receivables.

  • Merchant Account means the merchant account facility agreed between you and the Merchant Acquiring Bank.

  • Customer Account Information means personally identifiable information including Personal Data and Consumption Data. Customer Account Information also includes information received by the Company from the customer for purposes of participating in regulated utility programs, including, but not limited to bill pay assistance, shutoff protection, renewable energy, demand-side management, load management, or energy efficiency.
