Emergency Calls Access definition

Emergency Calls Access means the service conveying Emergency Calls as described in Schedule 4 and which forms part of the Service.
Emergency Calls Access means that component of the Service conveying Emergency Calls as described in paragraph 6.2 of this Schedule.
Emergency Calls Access means that component of the ACS Select Service conveying Emergency Calls as described in Paragraph 7.5.

Examples of Emergency Calls Access in a sentence

  • Emergency Calls Access forms part of the Service and shall be supplied by AdEPT on the terms set out in this Schedule.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, a Customer may not acquire/order the Emergency Calls Access component of the Service on its own.

  • In relation to Emergency Calls Access, the Customer must provide AdEPT with initial and accurate data and regular updates of that data to ensure accuracy to the AdEPT Emergency Services Data Base.

Related to Emergency Calls Access

  • Emergency call means a telephone request or text message request for service which requires immediate action to prevent loss of life, reduce bodily injury, prevent or reduce loss of property and respond to other emergency situations determined by local policy.

  • Emergency Care means management for an illness or injury which results in symptoms which occur suddenly and unexpectedly, and requires immediate care by a medical practitioner to prevent death or serious long term impairment of the insured person’s health.

  • Emergency work means any urgent measures which in the opinion of the Engineer-in-Charge become necessary during the progress of the work to obviate any risk of accident or failure or which become necessary for security.

  • Critical access hospital or “CAH” means a hospital licensed as a critical access hospital by the department of inspections and appeals pursuant to rule 481—51.52(135B).

  • Emergency Situation means a situation in which an individual is experiencing a serious mental illness or a developmental disability, or a minor is experiencing a serious emotional disturbance, and 1 of the following applies:

  • Emergency services means, with respect to an Emergency Medical Condition:

  • Emergency medical condition means a medical condition manifesting itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) so that a prudent layperson, who possesses an average knowledge of health and medicine, could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in a condition described in clause (i), (ii), or (iii) of section 1867(e)(1)(A) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395dd(e)(1)(A)).

  • Emergency contraception means any health care treatment approved by the food and drug administration that prevents pregnancy, including but not limited to administering two increased doses of certain oral contraceptive pills within seventy-two hours of sexual contact.

  • Non-Administrator Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facility means a Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facility that does not meet the definition of an Administrator Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facility.

  • Continuous emission monitoring system or "CEMS" means the equipment required under section 11 of this rule to sample, analyze, measure, and provide, by means of readings recorded at least once every fifteen (15) minutes, using an automated data acquisition and handling system (DAHS), a permanent record of nitrogen oxides emissions, stack gas volumetric flow rate, stack gas moisture content, and oxygen or carbon dioxide concentration, as applicable, in a manner consistent with 40 CFR 75*.
