Employee File definition

Employee File means the official employer file that contains information relevant to individual employees and their employment.
Employee File means the employee’s personnel file or any other file or repository wherein said complaint, statements or other documents are, have been or may be maintained.
Employee File. For the purposes of this directive, Employee File shall refer only to that file which contains an employee’s employment history and is secured in the Office of the Chief of Police. An employee’s file will be maintained by the department during the course of their employment and five years after employment has ended.  Progressive Discipline: Increasing levels of discipline when lower levels do not improve performance. It does not bar a higher level of discipline from being initially applied.

  • If the employee believes that material to be placed in his/her Administrative Central Office Employee File is inappropriate or is in error, he/she may seek adjustment through the established Grievance Procedure.

  • Test results shall be placed in the Employee's Employee File at the request of the Employee.

  • Said complaint may be placed in the Administrative Central Office Employee File.

  • Case file means a record that is assembled and maintained for each application approved for state cost sharing.
