Encryption Engine definition
Encryption Engine means certain software developed by NDCHealth prior to the Effective Date and useful for encrypting PHI Data Sets using the advanced encryption standard, a symmetric algorithm that utilizes block encryption and meets the requirements of Federal Information Processing Standard 197 as approved by the United States Department of Commerce, the Encryption Engine being the Algorithm referred to in Section 1.2(a) of the Contribution Agreement.
Encryption Engine shall have the meaning ascribed to it in the Data Supply Agreement.
