Energy Capacity definition

Energy Capacity means a measure of the maximum amount of Energy (in MWh) that an Energy Storage Facility can store.
Energy Capacity means the maximum quantity of electric energy measured in kilowatt hours (kWh) generated by the Clean Energy Facility and are capable of being delivered to the electric grid as set forth in Table 1.

  • Services provided by the ISO under the ISO Services Tariff related to the ISO Administered Markets for Energy, Capacity and Ancillary Services.

  • A Party who purchases Energy, Capacity or Ancillary Services in the Wholesale Market to serve its own Load is considered to be a participant in the Wholesale Market.

  • The point(s) on the NYS Transmission System where Energy, Capacity and Ancillary Services will be made available to the receiving party under the ISO OATT or the ISO Services Tariff.

  • A Transmission Wheeling Agreement, as amended, between Transmission Owner or between a Transmission Owner and an entity that is not a Transmission Owner associated with the purchase (or sale) of Energy, Capacity, and/or Ancillary Services for the benefit of an entity that is not a Transmission Owner.

  • A commercial entity meeting the requirements for service under the ISO OATT or the ISO Services Tariff that facilitates the purchase and/or sale of Energy, Capacity and/or Ancillary Services in a New York Wholesale Market.

  • Any entity, including a Municipal Electric System and a Cooperatively Owned Electric System, authorized or required by law, regulatory authorization or requirement, agreement, or contractual obligation to supply Energy, Capacity and/or Ancillary Services to retail customers located within the NYCA, including an entity that takes service from the ISO to supply its own Load within the NYCA; provided, however, that such entity has obtained all governmental authorizations necessary to serve Load in the NYCA.

  • The point(s) on the NYS Transmission System where Energy, Capacity and Ancillary Services will be made available to the ISO by the delivering party under the ISO OATT or the ISO Services Tariff.

  • Purchases, sales or exchanges of Energy, Capacity or Ancillary Services for which either the Point of Injection (“POI” ) or Point of Withdrawal (“POW”) or both are located outside the NYCA (i,e Exports, Imports or Wheels Through) Federal Power Act (“FPA”).

  • The point(s) on the NYS Transmission System where Energy, Capacity and Ancillary Services will be made available to the ISO by the Point(s) of Withdrawal (“POW” or “Point of Delivery”).

  • BGS-CIEP Load – the full electricity requirement (including without limitation, Energy, Capacity, and Ancillary Services) of BGS-CIEP Customers.
