Energy Put Option definition

Energy Put Option has the meaning set forth in Section 1.01.

Examples of Energy Put Option in a sentence

  • Any portion of the Delivery Period for which Seller has exercised its Energy Put Option shall be a “Put Delivery Period,” and any portion of the Delivery Period for which Seller has not exercised its Energy Put Option shall be a “RA Delivery Period.” During any RA Delivery Period, Seller shall have the right to dispatch and sell the Capacity, Energy, Ancillary Services Capacity and Associated Ancillary Services Energy from the Project to any third party.

  • Contract payment costs can vary from Offer to Offer, but they typically consist of a fixed payment stream, such as monthly capacity payments, as well as, for Offers that include an Energy Put Option, variable payment streams that depend upon the use of the device.Fixed payment streams are calculated directly according to contractual obligations.

  • Seller shall ensure that such Third Party Sale does not interfere with or otherwise complicate any scheduling, confidentiality or general administrative or operational issues associated with Seller’s exercise of the Energy Put Option for the first Contract Year.

  • Any portion of the Delivery Period for which Seller has not exercised its Energy Put Option shall be an “RA Period.” During any RA Period, Seller shall have the right to dispatch and sell the Capacity, Energy, Ancillary Services Capacity and Associated Ancillary Services Energy from the Project to any third party.

  • The Parties shall cooperate with each other in order for SCE to be able to dispatch the Project prior toutilize the Product beginning on the Initial Delivery Date and, if Seller has not exercised its Energy Put Option for the first Contract Year, Seller agrees to cause each Generating Unit’s SC to cooperate in order to achieve the same.

  • For purposes of determining Losses, Seller shall be deemed to have exercised its Energy Put Option for each and every remaining Contract Year of the Term.

  • For purposes of determining Gains, Seller shall be deemed to have exercised its Energy Put Option for each and every remaining Contract Year of the Term.

Related to Energy Put Option

  • Natural gas company ’ means a person engaged in the transportation of natural gas in interstate commerce, or the sale in inter- state commerce of such gas for resale.

  • Energy Settlement Area means the bus or distribution of busses that represents the physical location of Network Load and by which the obligations of the Network Customer to PJM are settled.

  • Energy year or "EY" means the 12-month period from June 1st

  • Energy Payment The amount that Company will pay Seller for electric energy delivered to Company in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement on a monthly basis as set forth in Attachment J (Company Payments for Energy, Dispatchability and Availability of XXXX) to this Agreement.

  • Energy Price has the meaning set forth in Section 4.[1/2](a).

  • Renewable energy resources means energy derived from solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, and hydroelectricity. A fuel cell using hydrogen derived from these eligible resources is also an eligible electric generation technology. Fossil and nuclear fuels and their derivatives are not eligible resources.

  • Natural Gas Liquids means those hydrocarbon components that can be recovered from natural gas as a liquid including, but not limited to, ethane, propane, butanes, pentanes plus, and condensates;

  • Renewable energy resource means a resource that naturally replenishes over a human, not a geological, time frame and that is ultimately derived from solar power, water power, or wind power. Renewable energy resource does not include petroleum, nuclear, natural gas, or coal. A renewable energy resource comes from the sun or from thermal inertia of the earth and minimizes the output of toxic material in the conversion of the energy and includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:

  • Energy means electricity, natural gas, steam, hot or chilled water, fuel oil, or other product for use in a building, or renewable on-site electricity generation, for purposes of providing heating, cooling, lighting, water heating, or for powering or fueling other end-uses in the building and related facilities, as reflected in Utility bills or other documentation of actual Energy use.

  • Real-time System Energy Price means the System Energy Price resulting from the Office of the Interconnection’s dispatch of the PJM Interchange Energy Market in the Operating Day.

  • Energy Storage Resource means a resource capable of receiving electric energy from the grid and storing it for later injection to the grid that participates in the PJM Energy, Capacity and/or Ancillary Services markets as a Market Participant.

  • Geothermal energy means energy contained in heat that continuously flows outward from the earth that is used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • Energy Resource means a Generating Facility that is not a Capacity Resource.

  • Net energy metering means measuring the difference, over the net metering period, between (i)

  • Natural Gas or “Gas” means wet gas, dry gas, all other gaseous hydrocarbons, and all substances contained therein, including sulphur and helium, which are produced from oil or gas xxxxx, excluding those condensed or extracted liquid hydrocarbons that are liquid at normal temperature and pressure conditions, and including the residue Gas remaining after the condensation or extraction of liquid hydrocarbons from Gas such that any Gas sold under this Agreement shall be of the quality as indicated in Clause 7.

  • energy infrastructure means any physical equipment or facility which is located within the Union or linking the Union to one or more third countries and falling under the following categories:

  • Renewable Energy Source means an energy source that is not fossil carbon-based, non- renewable or radioactive, and may include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, landfill gas, or wave, tidal and thermal ocean technologies, and includes a Certified Renewable Energy Source.

  • Energy project means the installation or modification of an energy efficiency improvement or the acquisition, installation, or improvement of a renewable energy system.

  • Gas Transporter means the licensed operator of the transportation network through which gas is transported to you;

  • renewable energy sources means renewable sources such as small hydro, wind, solar including its integration with combined cycle, biomass, bio fuel cogeneration, urban or municipal waste and other such sources as approved by the MNRE;

  • Day-ahead System Energy Price means the System Energy Price resulting from the Day- ahead Energy Market.

  • Renewable energy facility means an electric generation unit or other facility or installation that produces electric energy using a Renewable Energy Source.
