Enhanced Disclosure definition

Enhanced Disclosure means the details included in a Standard Disclosure plus a check of locally held police records.

  • In addition to the details provided in the Basic and Standard Disclosures, the Enhanced Disclosure provides an enhanced criminal records certificate which may contain non-conviction information which a Chief Officer or Chief Constable may choose to disclose if they believe it relevant to the position in question.

  • Although the requirement for Enhanced Disclosure will be less frequent, as an indication of volume, these may be required for roles which involve the following:  those who apply for work that regularly involves caring for, training, supervising or being in sole charge of children or adults at risk;  applicants for various gaming and lottery licences;  those seeking judicial appointment; or,  Applicants for registration for child minding, day care and to act as ▇▇▇▇▇▇ parents or carers.

  • Successful candidates will be asked to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure which must be processed before any hours are allocated.

  • Where a room is used for purposes involving children whose parents are not present, adults supervising the children must be DBS checked and proof of Enhanced Disclosure must be provided to PPP Ltd on request.

  • However, when placing a trainee, the university will confirm with the school that all relevant checks, including a DBS Enhanced Disclosure and a check of the children’s barred list, have been cleared.

  • Where it is a requirement of the role, an Enhanced Disclosure Declaration / PVG the candidate must produce for each candidate undertaking such an assignment.
