Environment Management Plans definition

Environment Management Plans means, collectively, the Mianyang EMP, Panzhihua EMP, Suining EMP, Yibin EMP, and the environment management plans prepared by the Project Municipalities and agreed by the Bank pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 3(b) of Schedule 2 to the Project Agreement, as such plans may be revised from time to time with the prior agreement of the Bank; and “Environment Management Plan” means, individually, any such plan.
Environment Management Plans means, collectively, the following plans all dated August 20, 2009, which set out the environmental protection measures in respect of the Project, as well as administrative and monitoring arrangements to ensure the implementation of said plans, as said plans may be revised from time to time with the agreement of the World Bank: the Jinshan Dairy Farm Environmental Management Plan for investments under Part A.1 of the Project; the Chongming Dairy Farm Environmental Management Plan for investments under Part A.2 of the Project; the Qianwei Village Environmental Management Plan for investments under Part A.3 of the Project; the Jiading Town River-Network Wetland Demonstration Environmental Management Plan for investments under Part B.1 of the Project; the Qingpu Village Wetland Sewage Treatment System Environmental Management Plan for investments under Part B.2 of the Project; and the Integrated Agricultural Pollution Reduction Techniques Environmental Management Plan for investments under Part C of the Project; and
Environment Management Plans means, collectively, the following plans which set out with respect to the Project, measures for the protection of the environment and, where applicable, conservation of and mitigation against adverse impact on natural habitats or their functions, as well as administrative and monitoring arrangements to ensure the implementation of said plans, as said plans may be revised from time to time with the agreement of the Bank: (a) the Environment Management Plan of Nanhui Conveyor Project dated September 28, 2008, for investments under Part 1 of the Project and the treatment and disposal of sludge generated by water treatment plants; (b) the Xxxx Xxx Sha Environment Assessment Summary/Update dated October 22, 2008, which includes an environment mitigation plan for mitigating the ecological impact of constructing a reservoir on wetland habitat with respect to the Xxxx Xxx Sha Related Activity; (c) the Environment Management Plan of Bailonggang Sewerage System Project dated October 12, 2008, for investments under Part 2 of the Project and the Pudong Section Related Activity; and (d) the environment management plans prepared pursuant to Section I, paragraph C.2(b) of the Schedule to the Project Agreement, also known as Sub-project EMPs.

Environment Management Plans or "EMPs" means the environment management plans included in SEA;
Environment Management Plans or “EMPs” means the environment management plans for the Project, including any updates thereto, incorporated in the IEEs;
Environment Management Plans means, collectively, the environment management plans contained in the following documents, which plans set out with respect to the Project, measures for the protection of the environment, as well as administrative and monitoring arrangements to ensure the implementation of said plans, as said plans may be revised from time to time with the agreement of the Bank: (a) EIA Report for Wastewater Treatment Plant and Associated Sewer Network in Chunhu Town, Fenghua City dated September 15, 2009; (b) EIA Report for Coastal Water Supply (the first phase) in Fenghua City dated September 15, 2009; (c) EIA Report for Chunhu Town Access Road Project dated September 15, 2009; (d) EIA Report for Rural Wastewater Treatment Project (in pilot villages) of Ningbo New Countryside Development dated September 15, 2009; and (e) the environment management plans prepared pursuant to Section I, Part C, paragraph 2(b) of the Schedule to the Project Agreement. “Environment Management Plan” and the acronym “EMP” mean, individually, any of said Environment Management Plans.
Environment Management Plans or its acronym “EMPs” means, collectively, the environmental management plans prepared for the Project, all dated November 30, 2010 acceptable to the Bank, which plans set out the environmental protection measures in respect of the Project, as well as administrative and monitoring arrangements to ensure the implementation of said plans, as said plans may be revised from time to time with the written agreement of the Bank; and such term includes all schedules and annexes supplemental to the Environmental Management Plans.

Related to Environment Management Plans

  • Environmental Management Plan or “EMP” means the environmental management plan for the Project, including any update thereto, incorporated in the IEE;

  • Environmental Management System means an environmental management system or plan of management to address all environmental risks and to ensure compliance with all Environmental Laws and licences;

  • Nutrient management plan means a plan developed or approved by the Department of Conservation and Recreation that requires proper storage, treatment and management of poultry waste, including dry litter, and limits accumulation of excess nutrients in soils and leaching or discharge of nutrients into state waters.

  • Forest management plan means a written plan prepared and signed by a qualified forester that prescribes measures to optimize production, utilization, regeneration, and harvest of timber. The forest management plan shall include a schedule and timetables for the various silvicultural practices used on forestlands, which shall be a maximum of 20 years in length. A forest management plan shall include all of the following:

  • Environmental and Social Management Plan or “ESMP” means a site-specific environmental and social management plan to be prepared in accordance with the parameters laid down in the ESMF and acceptable to the Association, setting forth a set of mitigation, monitoring, and institutional measures to be taken during the implementation and operation of the Project activities to eliminate adverse environmental and social impacts, offset them, or reduce them to acceptable levels, and including the actions needed to implement these measures.

  • Quality Management Plan means the portion of the Project Development Plan providing the information requested in Section 4.3 of Exhibit B to the ITP.

  • Project Management Plan means the portion of the Project Development Plan providing the information requested in Section 4.2 of Exhibit B to the ITP.

  • Environmental Management Framework or “EMF” means the policy framework for environmental management, approved by the Project Implementing Entity’s Board of Directors on July 21, 2009, which sets forth the environmental policies and procedures that shall apply to the carrying out of the Project.

  • Remediation Plan means a report identifying:

  • Environmental Safeguards means the principles and requirements set forth in Chapter V, Appendix 1, and Appendix 4 (as applicable) of the SPS;

  • Stormwater management plan means the set of drawings and other documents that comprise all the information and specifications for the programs, drainage systems, structures, BMPs, concepts and techniques intended to maintain or restore quality and quantity of stormwater runoff to pre-development levels.

  • Asset Management Plan means a strategic document that states how a group of assets are to be managed over a period of time. The plan describes the characteristics and condition of infrastructure assets, the levels of service expected from them, planned actions to ensure the assets are providing the expected level of service, and financing strategies to implement the planned actions. The plan may use any appropriate format, as long as it includes the information and analysis required to be in a plan as described in Ontario’s Building Together: Guide for Asset Management Plans.

  • Procurement Plan means the Recipient’s procurement plan for the Project, dated April 2, 2010, and referred to in paragraph 1.16 of the Procurement Guidelines and paragraph 1.24 of the Consultant Guidelines, as the same shall be updated from time to time in accordance with the provisions of said paragraphs.

  • Security Management Plan means the Supplier's security management plan prepared pursuant to paragraph 3 of schedule 2 an outline of which is set out in paragraph 2.7 of the Order Form as updated from time to time;

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Liabilities means any cost, damages, expense, liability, obligation or other responsibility arising from or under any Environmental Law.

  • Management Plan means a plan to manage the activities and protect the special value or values in an Antarctic Specially Protected Area or an Antarctic Specially Managed Area.

  • Procurement Management means the Director of Lee County’s Procurement Management Department or designee.

  • Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Management Program means a management program covering the duration of a state permit for a municipal separate storm sewer system that includes a comprehensive planning process that involves public participation and intergovernmental coordination, to reduce the discharge of pollutants to the maximum extent practicable, to protect water quality, and to satisfy the appropriate water quality requirements of the CWA and regulations, and this article and its attendant regulations, using management practices, control techniques, and system, design, and engineering methods, and such other provisions that are appropriate.

  • Safety Management System means a systematic approach to managing safety, including the necessary organisational structures, accountabilities, policies and procedures;

  • New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.

  • Health and Safety Plan means a documented plan which addresses hazards identified and includes safe work procedures to mitigate, reduce or control the hazards identified;

  • Conservation Plan means a document that outlines how a project site will be managed using best management practices to avoid potential negative environmental impacts.

  • Virginia Stormwater Management Program or “VSMP” means a program approved by the State Board after September 13, 2011, that has been established by a locality to manage the quality and quantity of runoff resulting from land-disturbing activities and shall include such items as local ordinances, rules, permit requirements, annual standards and specifications, policies and guidelines, technical materials, and requirements for plan review, inspection, enforcement, where authorized in this article, and evaluation consistent with the requirements of this article and associated regulations.

  • Health and Human Services or “HHS” includes HHSC and DSHS.

  • Environmental and Social Management Framework or “ESMF” means the framework included in the EA setting out modalities to be followed in assessing the potential adverse environmental and social impact associated with activities to be implemented under the Project, and the measures to be taken to offset, reduce, or mitigate such adverse impact.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Laws means the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, each as amended, together with all other laws (including rules, regulations, codes, plans, injunctions, judgments, orders, decrees, rulings, and charges thereunder) of federal, state, local, and foreign governments (and all agencies thereof) concerning pollution or protection of the environment, public health and safety, or employee health and safety, including laws relating to emissions, discharges, releases, or threatened releases of pollutants, contaminants, or chemical, industrial, hazardous, or toxic materials or wastes into ambient air, surface water, ground water, or lands or otherwise relating to the manufacture, processing, distribution, use, treatment, storage, disposal, transport, or handling of pollutants, contaminants, or chemical, industrial, hazardous, or toxic materials or wastes.
