Environmental Standard definition

Environmental Standard means for the Release of Pollutants, for all areas, shall be the groundwater criteria in Table I of Chapter 62-777 of the Florida Administrative Code, and for all other environmental media other than groundwater, the most stringent applicable concentration for the medium of concern identified in Table I or Table II of Chapter 62-777 of the Florida Administrative Code for either direct commercial/industrial exposure or, leachability based- on- groundwater; provided that sediment in a Class IV (Agricultural Water Supplies) body of water on the Premises shall be considered soil and that sediment in a Class III body of water on the Premises shall meet the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Guidelines for Florida Inland Waters (MacDonald et al, 2003). If no Soil Cleanup Target Level (“SCTL”), Groundwater Cleanup Target Level (“GCTL”), or Florida Surface Water Cleanup Target Level (“FSCTL”) exists in Table I or Table II for a Pollutant, the SCTL, GCTL or FSCTL for it shall be established in accordance with the procedures in Chapter 62-777 for establishing an SCTL, GCTL or FSCTL.

Environmental Standard means the concentrations, amounts or conditions specified in any Environmental Laws, in a risk assessment approved by a Canadian Governmental Entity or in any standards or criteria that are used for the purposes of analyzing and assessing the concentrations of substances in the soil or groundwater during a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment.

Environmental Standard means the permissible limit of a quality parameter of the surrounding environment and of the content of pollutants in wastes as stipulated by the competent State body as the basis for management and protection of the environment.

• Ambient Environmental Standard means a value which specifies the quality of the ambient environment in terms of concentration or level of a parameter in an environmental media, generally soil, water, air and noise.

• The EnviroVeg Logo shall be used by Licensed Applicants for the purpose and objectives of the Freshcare Environmental Standard and EnviroVeg Certification and Logo Use Rules.

• Noncompliance is where such actions or outcomes do not meet specifications of the Freshcare Environmental Standard.

• SELLER acknowledges that it has received and read BUYER’s Health Environmental, Safety and Security Policy Statement (“XXXX Policy”) and BUYER’s Corporate Environmental Standard on Hazardous Waste Management (“ENV-1301”) and Hazardous Materials Management (“OHS-1102”).

• Other sectors at central level have duty of responsible to monitor and review the technical standards related to its responsibility in order to ensure the implementation of this Environmental Standard.

More Definitions of Environmental Standard

Environmental Standard means a regulation for which an entity opts at its/his/her discretion in order to apply limits of parameters regarding environmental quality, concentration of pollutants in waste, and technical and managerial requirements. The standard is issued by a competent authority or organization in accordance with regulations of law on standards and technical regulations.

Environmental Standard means any regulatory requirement under Applicable Law which prohibits Contamination or establishes a qualitative or quantitative limit on the presence of Contamination.
