Estates Officer definition

Estates Officer means the officer of the University i.e. Deputy Registrar (Estates) notified by the Central Government in the Gazette of India being an officer equivalent to the rank of a Gazetted Officer of Government who shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties imposed, on the Estates Officer by or under the under the Public Premises Act, 1971 (40 of 1971) belonging to and under the administrative control of the Banaras Hindu University.
Estates Officer means any suitably qualified and experienced person(s) responsible for building Works, nominated by the College and notified to the Contractor on the Purchase Order or at a later date in writing.
