EU Data Privacy Laws definition

EU Data Privacy Laws means all data protection laws and regulations applicable to Europe, including: (i) General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and any applicable national implementations of the GDPR; and (ii) in respect of Switzerland, The Federal Act on Data Protection of 19 June 1992 and its Ordinances (the “Swiss DPA”).
EU Data Privacy Laws means all data protection laws and regulations applicable to Europe, including: (i) General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and any applicable national implementations of the GDPR; (ii) in respect of the United Kingdom, the Data Protection Xxx 0000 and any applicable national legislation that replaces or converts in domestic law the GDPR or any other law relating to data and privacy as a consequence of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union; and (iii) in respect of Switzerland, The Federal Act on Data Protection of 19 June 1992 and its Ordinances.

Related to EU Data Privacy Laws

  • Data Privacy Laws means any state or national law or regulation protecting the privacy, confidentiality, or security of Personal Information.

  • Privacy Laws means the Act; and the Information Privacy Principles set out in the Act or any "code of practice" approved under the Act that applies to any of the parties to this Contract.

  • Privacy Shield means the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework self-certification program operated by the U.S. Department of Commerce and approved by the European Commission pursuant to Decision C(2016)4176 of 12 July 2016 and by the Swiss Federal Council on January 11, 2017 respectively.

  • Applicable Data Protection Laws means all national, international and local laws, regulations and rules by any government, agency or authority relating to data protection and privacy which are applicable to CPA Global or the Customer, including but not limited to The General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), (GDPR);

  • Business Associate means the Contractor.
