Evaluation Purposes definition

Evaluation Purposes means the Licensed Material may be used by the Customer in order to test whether the Software suits the Customer’s personal needs or not.
Evaluation Purposes means purposes of evaluation and demonstration of the capabilities of the Licensed Materials but excludes competitive analysis and any commercial, professional, or other for-profit purposes.
Evaluation Purposes means the use of the Software and Licensed Material for the sole purposes of deciding whether or not to purchase a commercial production license to use the Software and Licensed Material or for the purposes of attempting to complete a course or activity under any CSL Partner Program.

Examples of Evaluation Purposes in a sentence

  • For Evaluation Purposes only, the Customer and the relevant Customer Affiliates may access and use the Hosted Software in a non-production environment, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement (as modified in the next sub-clause) for the duration stated in the Contract Order Form.

  • Any Hosted Software made available for Evaluation Purposes is provided “as is” and the Supplier gives no service levels nor any warranties, indemnities, undertakings or representations (of any kind) in respect of such use and disclaims all and any liability.

  • Subject to the restrictions set forth in this Section 2 and Sections 3 and 4 below and subject to Your compliance with the other terms and conditions of this XXXX, Liferay grants to You a perpetual (provided that, in case of Evaluation Purposes, non-perpetual), non-transferable, non-exclusive, worldwide, non-sublicensable license, to use the Software.

  • Use of the Software for Evaluation Purposes requires an evaluation license provisioned by Liferay and is limited to just one (1) Unit and to thirty (30) days from the date of activation of the Software, unless otherwise extended by Liferay.

  • Except in the case of Development Purposes and Evaluation Purposes, Your use of the Software is restricted to the total number of Units and to the Designated Purpose for which You have acquired Subscription Services from Liferay or a Business Partner.

  • You may use third party contractors to assist with the installation and use of the Software on Your or Your Affiliates’ behalf and only for Your own internal business use (in case of Evaluation Purposes, evaluation use instead), provided that You will remain responsible for all of Your obligations under this EULA and for the activities and omissions of the third parties.


More Definitions of Evaluation Purposes

Evaluation Purposes means using specially designated copies of the Software for the limited purpose of non-revenue generating evaluation of the Software. “Development Purposes” means using the Software for the specific purpose of building software that runs with or on the Software.
Evaluation Purposes time bound access to a dedicated Cyferd operated Tenant for the purposes of evaluating the Cyferd Product’s features and functionality. “Intellectual Property Rights”: means copyright, rights relating to copyright such as moral rights and performers rights, patents, rights in inventions, rights in confidential information, know-how, trade secrets, trade marks, trade names, geographical indications, service marks, design right, rights in get-up, database rights, databases, data exclusivity rights, utility models, chip topography rights, mask works, utility models, domain names, rights in computer software, mask works, the right to sue for infringement, unfair competition and passing off and all similar rights of whatever nature, any other intellectual property rights, and all similar rights of whatever nature and, in each case: (a) whether registered or not; (b) including any applications to protect or register such rights; (c) including all renewals and extensions of such rights or applications; (d) whether vested, contingent or future; and (e) wherever existing.
Evaluation Purposes has the meaning set out in clause 1.2.

Related to Evaluation Purposes

  • Production Purposes means using the Software (a) in a production environment, (b) generally using live data and/or applications for a purpose other than Development Purposes, (c) for multi-user prototyping, quality assurance and testing and/or (d) for backup instances.

  • Common Purposes shall include the purposes of managing and maintaining the Premises, the Buildings and in particular the Common Portions, rendition of services in common to the Unit Owners, collection and disbursement of the Common Expenses and dealing with the matters of common interest of the Unit Owners and relating to their mutual rights and obligations for the beneficial use and enjoyment of their respective Units exclusively and the Common Portions in common.

  • Evaluation means an appraisal of an individual’s professional performance in relation to his or her job description and professional standards and based on, when applicable, the individual’s evaluation rubric.

  • Development Purposes means using the Software for the specific purpose of (a) developing, (b) single-user prototyping, quality assurance or testing and/or

  • Approved Purposes means the use of Data by the Provider for the purposes of providing services authorized by APS in Agreements entered into between APS and the Provider (“Authorized Services”) during the term of the SDUPA., and for no other purpose.

  • Multiple purposes in relation to a property, shall mean the use of a property for more than one purpose.

  • Evaluation Period has the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 5.1.

  • Public Purposes means the public purpose of financing $1,500,000.00 of building remodeling and improvement projects, consisting of projects included in the District's 2015-2016 building remodeling and improvement program;

  • Business Purposes ’ means purposes normally or otherwise reasonably associ- ated with the use of land for business activities, including shops, offices, showrooms, restaurants or similar businesses other than places of instruction, public garages, builder’s yards, scrap yards and industrial activities;

  • Evaluation Criteria means the criteria set out under the clause 27 (Evaluation Process) of this Part C, which includes the Qualifying Criteria, Functional Criteria and Price and Preferential Points Assessment.

  • Independent educational evaluation means an evaluation conducted by a qualified examiner who is not employed by the public agency responsible for the education of the child in question.

  • Primary Purpose means the collection, use, or disclosure of information collected by the Company or supplied by the Customer in order to: (1) provide, bill, or collect for, regulated electric service; (2) provide for system, grid, or operational needs; (3) provide services as required by state or federal law or as specifically authorized by an order of the Commission; (4) plan, implement, or evaluate programs, products or services related to energy assistance, demand response, energy management, energy efficiency, or renewable energy by the Company or under contract with the Company, under contract with the Commission, or as part of a Commission-authorized program conducted by an entity under the supervision of the Commission, or pursuant to state or federal statutes governing energy assistance; and (5) disclosure of customer name and address to a provider of appliance repair services in compliance with MCL 460.10a(9)(a), or to otherwise comply with the Code of Conduct.

  • Educational Purposes means use for the purpose of education, teaching, distance learning, private study and/or research.

  • Legitimate Purposes means sharing of UPSI in the ordinary course of business by an Insider with the following, provided that such sharing has not been carried out to evade or circumvent the prohibitions of these regulations:

  • Evaluation Team means the team appointed by the City; “Information Meeting” has the meaning set out in section 2.2;
