Excepted Business definition

Excepted Business means Covered Business that is not subject to the Business Framework or the Underwriting Guidelines pursuant to Sections 2.02(b), 2.06(b) (other than Non-Covered Business), 7.05(a) and/or 7.05(b).
Excepted Business means the development, sale or provision (via the internet or other means) of health or wellness information, health or wellness decisions support tools, services or applications and/or health or wellness communication services, directly or indirectly, to consumers, health and for benefit plan members or employees or health care professionals including but not limited to products or services that provide information on diseases, conditions or treatments, store health care information, assess personal health status and/or assist in making informed benefit, provider or treatment choices.
Excepted Business means pension business, individual savings account business, child trust fund business, life reinsurance business and long-term business which is not life assurance business;”;

Examples of Excepted Business in a sentence

  • These Underwriting Guidelines shall not apply to Non-Covered Business and/or Excepted Business.

  • Any business resulting from any such inconsistent action shall be Excepted Business and, in addition to other rights available to AUL, any underwriting results arising from any breach of this Section 2.02(b) will, at AUL’s option, exercised within 5 Business Days of the later of the date such business is bound and the date on which AUL discovers or is notified that such business was bound, be excluded from the determination of the Profit Commission.

Related to Excepted Business

  • Permitted Business means any business similar in nature to any business conducted by the Company and the Restricted Subsidiaries on the Issue Date and any business reasonably ancillary, incidental, complementary or related to, or a reasonable extension, development or expansion of, the business conducted by the Company and the Restricted Subsidiaries on the Issue Date, in each case, as determined in good faith by the Company.

  • Related Business means any business that is related, ancillary or complementary to the businesses of the Company and the Restricted Subsidiaries on the Issue Date.

  • Restricted Business has the meaning set forth in Section 6.10(a).
