Executive Finance Officer (EFO) definition
Executive Finance Officer (EFO) means the most senior Financial position for Sipekne’katik, responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including Budget and Financial Reporting. The EFO has signing authority for Sipekne’katik, as approved by Council and is responsible to report on financial matters to Chief and Council regularly. The EFO is a member of the Senior Management Group and works closely with and may delegate some responsibilities to the Director of Finance.
