Existing Certificateholder definition

Existing Certificateholder means (i) with respect to and for the purpose of dealing with the Auction Agent in connection with an Auction, a Person who is a Broker-Dealer listed in the Existing Certificateholder Registry at the close of business on the Business Day immediately preceding such Auction and (ii) with respect to and for the purpose of dealing with the Broker-Dealer in connection with an Auction, a Person who is a beneficial owner of any Class of Auction Rate Certificates.

  • Hold Order--Submitted by an Existing Certificateholder, this order indicates the holder would like to continue as the current bondholder at the current principal amount, without regard to the rate charged.
