Extra Duty Pay definition

Extra Duty Pay is additional compensation for any authorized hours worked by bargaining unit employees beyond the designated work year or workday and is calculated based on Column VI, Step 10 of the Certificated General Education Teacher Annual Salary Schedule.
Extra Duty Pay. Extra duty pay shall mean the compensation for such services as supervising and assisting extracurricular activities, chaperoning, ticket taking, lunch room supervision, and other similar and related activities and shall not include any compensation for those services covered in the principal or primary employment contracts of teachers. Salary: Salary shall mean the compensation received by Teachers under their primary or principal contract for services with the amount of such compensation being as set forth and determined by the salary schedule attached to this agreement, and shall not include or in any way relate to extra duty pay. Examples of Extra Duty Pay in a sentence

  • An employee assigned to a supplemental job will be paid on the schedule of Extra Duty Pay for Supplemental Job Assignments as set forth in Appendix 2 which is attached hereto and incorporated into this Agreement.

  • Unit members receiving Extra Duty Pay may only receive one (1) stipend per semester unless the position has been posted and no other qualified certificated unit member applied for the position.

  • Payment for all hourly duties including night duties on the Extra Duty Pay Schedule and class covers shall be made in the last payroll of the month upon submission of a voucher authorized by Activities Director or administrator received in the business office by the 10th day of the month following the month that the extra duty was completed (example: voucher completed on September 18th is due in the business office no later than October 10th).

  • Extra duty assignments, for which a pay scale is not provided in the Extra Duty Pay Schedule (Appendix C), are considered part of each teacher's normal work load.

  • Teachers who are requested and/or required to supervise during their scheduled duty free lunch shall be compensated at a rate specified on the Extra Duty Pay Schedule.

  • If a unit member does provide substitute service during their conference/preparation period, they will receive the full Extra Duty Pay hourly rate for each occurrence per Appendix I.

  • Article I Philosophy of Extra Duty Pay It is agreed by the Association and the Board that extra duty pay positions provide for a beneficial educational opportunity for the students of the Park Hill School District.

  • Unit members who accept Extra Duty assignments (i.e coaching) outside of their normal work day and scope of responsibilities, will be paid at a set amount, per the established Certificated Extra Duty Pay Schedule located on the District’s HR website.

  • An Extra Duty Pay position (EDP) may be established at any time during the contractual period.

  • Committee members shall be paid at the rate listed in the Extra Duty Pay Schedule - Supplemental Contracts, and committee members shall have the same pay options as all other supplemental contracts.

Related to Extra Duty Pay

  • Pre-Tax Income means income before income taxes, as publicly reported by the Company in its quarterly or annual financial statements, as applicable, prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The financial statements shall mean the consolidated financial statements of the Company.

  • Third Party Payments means the payment made through instruments issued from an account other than that of the beneficiary investor mentioned in the application form. However, in case of payments from a joint bank account, the first named applicant/investor has to be one of the joint holders of the bank account from which payment is made.
