Extra Duty Pay definition

Extra Duty Pay. Extra duty pay shall mean the compensation for such services as supervising and assisting extracurricular activities, chaperoning, ticket taking, lunch room supervision, and other similar and related activities and shall not include any compensation for those services covered in the principal or primary employment contracts of teachers. Salary: Salary shall mean the compensation received by Teachers under their primary or principal contract for services with the amount of such compensation being as set forth and determined by the salary schedule attached to this agreement, and shall not include or in any way relate to extra duty pay. Superintendent: Superintendent of schools of Unified School District No. 239, Ottawa County, Kansas.

Extra Duty Pay is additional compensation for any authorized hours worked by bargaining unit employees beyond the designated work year or workday and is calculated based on Column VI, Step 10 of the Certificated General Education Teacher Annual Salary Schedule.

Examples of Extra Duty Pay in a sentence

  • Unit members receiving Extra Duty Pay may only receive one (1) stipend per semester unless the position has been posted and no other qualified certificated unit member applied for the position.

  • An employee assigned to a supplemental job will be paid on the schedule of Extra Duty Pay for Supplemental Job Assignments as set forth in Appendix 2 which is attached hereto and incorporated into this Agreement.

  • The School-Board approved Stipend and Extra Duty Pay Schedule shall be used to compensate all substitute teachers whether paid from local, state or federal grant funds.

  • Extra Duty Pay – Employees on the Teacher Placement Table who have assignments beyond the regular day during the school year (as determined by the principal) shall be paid at the standard rate of $25/hour for the additional time worked.

  • The CONTRACTOR must make payment to any sub-contractor or vendor within 15 business days of receiving payment from the County for a Contractor invoice submitted to the County that billed for services or commodities provided by that sub-contractor or vendor.

  • Any unit employee who is assigned to the extra duties of a SWAT member shall receive, in addition to the employee’s base rate of pay, Extra Duty Pay for the SWAT Assignment in the flat amount of $38.85 bi-weekly during the term of this Agreement.

  • Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act means the Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act, 2017;

  • Wages is defined as the amount of money the employee would have otherwise received over a period of absence, excluding overtime.

  • Use tax means a nonrecurring tax, other than a sales tax, which (a) is imposed on or with respect to the exercise or enjoyment of any right or power over tangible personal property incident to the ownership, possession or custody of that property or the leasing of that property from another including any consumption, keeping, retention, or other use of tangible personal property and (b) is complementary to a sales tax.
