Facility Work definition

Facility Work means all services, labor, materials, and other efforts to be provided and performed including the following general categories: scheduling, facility relocation, demolition, permitting, survey, geotechnical, design, environmental mitigation, construction, quality control, and quality assurance for design and construction, community relations, quality inspection and testing, construction safety and security program, systems testing, preparation of CADD As-Builts, coordination with jurisdictional authorities (governments, public and private entities), facility companies, railroad companies, and local communities, and other efforts necessary or appropriate to complete the design and construction required for relocation of Facilities or construction of new Facilities in conjunction with the HSR Project.
Facility Work means all Work under the Contract Documents that is performed (i) to determine whether a Facility is Ready for Development, (ii) in connection with the preparation and approval of Facility Implementation Plans, or (iii) performed pursuant to Facility Implementation Plans. The term "Facility Work" specifically excludes the Initial Scope of Work, Update Work and Technical Support Services. Federal Acquisition Regulation means Title 48 of the United States Code of Federal Regulations.
Facility Work means all those activities related to the Relocation of a Local Agency’s Facilities.

  • The elements of the Facility Work to be performed prior to approval of a Facility Implementation Plan include Work (i) required for determining when Facilities are Ready for Development, (ii) required for preparing written requests for authorization from TxDOT to proceed with preparation of a Facility Implementation Plan, and (iii) relating to discussions, negotiations and preparation of Facility Implementation Plans.

  • In no event shall Developer or its Affiliates be entitled to compensation for any Facility Work prior to execution by TxDOT and Developer or an Affiliate of a Facility Implementation Plan for the applicable Facility.

Related to Facility Work

  • LNG facility means a terminal which is used for the liquefaction of natural gas or the importation, offloading, and re-gasification of LNG, and includes ancillary services and temporary storage necessary for the re-gasification process and subsequent delivery to the transmission system, but does not include any part of LNG terminals used for storage;
