Faculty Advisory Committee definition

Faculty Advisory Committee or “FAC” shall mean the sub-committee that serves as a bridge between the Honor Committee and general faculty members. Its purpose is to collect and synthesize the academic division’s sentiments and to improve the overall academic experience as it relates to the Honor System. With such a platform, the Faculty Advisory Committee may deliver policies and initiatives to the Honor Committee as well as construct outreach to the University.

Examples of Faculty Advisory Committee in a sentence

  • The administrator shall meet with the Faculty Advisory Committee within three weeks of a request.

  • The Faculty Advisory Committee shall be elected by secret ballot election, conducted by the site Association representative within the first six weeks of the school year.

  • A list of the members of the Faculty Advisory Committee of each school shall be sent to the Association and the administrator.

  • The Faculty Advisory Committee may choose to meet with other employees and/or with the administrator, during the regular duty day provided the employees have no assigned instructional responsibility and that such meetings shall not conflict with previously scheduled meetings.

  • The Faculty Advisory Committee may meet during the regular duty day at such times as committee members have no student contact.

  • The Faculty Advisory Committee shall be responsible for establishing a process to elect teacher representatives to the School Advisory Committee.

  • Any school-wide drives or collection of money which involve teachers shall not be approved until such have been discussed with the Faculty Advisory Committee.

  • The Faculty Advisory Committee shall have a membership of not less than five or more than eleven employees elected by the employees at each school.

  • After consulting with the Faculty Advisory Committee, the Principal will establish the normal reporting times for Teachers before student classes begin each day as well as the normal departure times after classes have ended.

  • FTNTT Faculty members may request that the matter be considered by the established Faculty Advisory Committee (Faculty Council in instances involving faculty assigned to a regional campus) and/or the FTNTT AAUP/KSU Joint Study Committee which body shall offer its advice on the matter in dispute to the unit administrator.

  • OPSI Advisory Committee means the committee established under Tariff, Attachment M, section III.G.
