Faculty Member or Faculty definition

Faculty Member or Faculty means any full- or part-time professor, associate professor, assistant professor or instructor, excluding faculty members who also hold administrative appointments.
Faculty Member or Faculty. The termsfaculty member” and” “faculty” are used interchangeably in this Agreement to refer to an individual or individuals who are represented by the bargaining unit, except when the context specifically provides otherwise.
Faculty Member or Faculty means a Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor from the academic track and/or Professors of practice/ professionals from the academic track or a person employed or engaged by the Institute for imparting education or training or guiding or conducting research in the Institute, either on the permanent basis or on contractual basis and includes the Dean(s) and the Director;

Examples of Faculty Member or Faculty in a sentence

  • For the purpose of calculating vacation credits a "month worked" shall be defined as the period of time a Faculty Member or Faculty Assistant provides Faculty Member duties (Article 1.2), Faculty Assistant duties, assigned departmental duties and/or professional development.

  • A “grievance” is defined as a claim by a Faculty Member, or Faculty Members, or by the Association on behalf of one or more specifically identified Faculty Member(s) or by the Association on its own behalf, that the District has violated, misinterpreted or misapplied a specific provision of this Agreement.
