Fair Practices Code definition

Fair Practices Code means this fair practices code adopted and implemented by PayU Finance, as may be amended from time to time.
Fair Practices Code refers to guidelines aimed to provide to all the stakeholders, especially customers effective overview of practices followed by the Company in respect of financial facilities and services offered by the Company to its Customers. This Fair Practices Code has been prepared taking in to account the “Guidelines on Fair Practices Code for NBFCs P2P” issued by the Reserve Bank of India and aims to enable customers to take informed decisions in respect of the facilities and services offered by the Company.

  • Society Act means the Society Act of the Province of British Columbia from time to time in force and all amendments to it;

  • Arbitration Act means the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and shall include any amendment to or any re-enactment thereof as in force from time to time.

  • fraudulent practices which means any act or omission, including a misrepresentation, that knowingly or recklessly misleads, or attempts to mislead, a party to obtain a financial or other benefit or to avoid an obligation; and

  • Good Industry Practice means standards, practices, methods and procedures conforming to the Law and the exercise of the degree of skill and care, diligence, prudence and foresight which would reasonably and ordinarily be expected from a skilled and experienced person or body engaged within the relevant industry or business sector;
