FERC Authorization definition

FERC Authorization means the authorization by the FERC granting to Owner the approvals requested in that certain application filed by Owner with the FERC on January 31, 2011, in Docket No. CP11-72-000 (as may be amended from time to time) pursuant to Section 3(a) of the Natural Gas Act and the corresponding regulations of the FERC.
FERC Authorization means, collectively, any FERC order which is not subject to rehearing or appeal authorizing Owner to provide Firm Transmission Service, including the FERC Order and any authorization from FERC with respect to the Transmission Operating Agreement or Interconnection Agreements.
FERC Authorization means, the authorization of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission granted to the Borrower in Docket Number ES20-37-000 issued June 29, 2020 and effective as of July 15, 2020.

Examples of FERC Authorization in a sentence

  • In the event FERC denies Owner’s application for the FERC Authorization or the content of such FERC Authorization is not acceptable to Owner, then Owner shall not be obligated to appeal therefrom.

  • Issuance of the NTP pursuant to Section 5.2B is contingent upon FERC issuing the FERC Authorization.

  • In the event Owner fails to provide the FERC Authorization for Commissioning within the period specified in the preceding sentence, Contractor shall be entitled to a Change Order to the extent allowed under Section 6.9 of the Agreement.

More Definitions of FERC Authorization

FERC Authorization shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.1(a).
FERC Authorization means the authorization to site, construct, and operate the P1 Train Facilities and the Common Facilities originally issued by FERC in its Order in Docket Nos. CP16-454 on November 22, 2019, with rehearing subsequently denied and later remanded by the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, and with those certain design modifications approved by FERC in 2020 and 2021, and the FERC Remand Order, as such FERC orders may be amended, supplemented, clarified, restated, reissued, or otherwise modified from time to time by FERC.
FERC Authorization means the authorization by the FERC issued on December 21, 2004 granting to Owner the approvals requested in that certain application filed by Owner with the FERC on December 22, 2003, in Docket No. CP04-47-000 (as may be amended from time to time) pursuant to Section 3(a) of the Natural Gas Act and the corresponding regulations of the FERC.
FERC Authorization means the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Order Authorizing Issuances of Securities granted to the Borrower in docket number ES23-29-000 issued on April 14, 2023, and effective as of such date.
FERC Authorization means a written authorization issued from time to time by the FERC director of the Office of Energy Projects, authorizing Owner to commence construction of the Facility, or take such other actions with respect to the Facility as set forth therein.
FERC Authorization means the authorization by the FERC granting to Owner the approvals requested for Subproject 6(a) in that certain application filed by Owner with the FERC on September 30, 2013, in Docket No. CP13-552-000 (as may be amended from time to time) pursuant to Section 3(a) of the Natural Gas Act and the corresponding regulations of the FERC.
FERC Authorization means the authorization originally issued by FERC in its Order in Docket Nos. CP16-454 and CP16-455-000 on November 22, 2019, with rehearing subsequently denied, and remanded by the Court of Appeals, and resulting in the Order on Remand issued by FERC on April 21, 2023, as well as those certain design modifications approved by FERC in 2020 and 2021, as such FERC orders may be amended, supplemented, clarified, restated, reissued, or otherwise modified from time to time by FERC.
