Final settlement pay definition

Final settlement pay means any pay or cash conversions of employee benefits in excess of compensation earnable, that are granted or awarded to a member in connection with or in anticipation of a separation from employment. Final settlement pay is excluded from payroll reporting to PERS, in either payrate or compensation earnable.

  • Individual Settlement Payment means the amount payable from the Net

  • Maximum Settlement Amount means the maximum amount the Company may be required to pay pursuant to this Settlement, which is the sum of One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000), excluding any of the Company’s employer-side share of FICA, FUTA, and other similar, mandatory employer-side payroll taxes. In no event shall the Maximum Settlement Amount exceed the foregoing sum.
