Fire Alarms. The property has fire alarms installed and they are believed to function properly at the time of rental. Renter will notify management without delay if a fire alarm “chirps” or has a low battery condition. Renter is advised that there is no carbon monoxide or radon detector on the property and accepts the risk involved in not having one.

In the Payment Table in Section 5.B of Attachment A , if a Building has a dollar amount in the “Fire Alarm Monitoring Fee (Monthly)” column, there is a Fire Alarm at that Building. In addition, the Building called Wildlife Center and Collection Storage at the Location called Pine Dunes Forest Preserve has an alarm that is both a Fire Alarm and Security Alarm.

  • The owner of a building to which an essential fire safety measure is applicable (e.g. Automatic Fire Alarms) must maintain each essential fire measure in the building premises in accordance with the standard set out in any applicable fire safety schedule or, where there is no fire safety schedule, in accordance to a standard no less than that to which the measure was originally designed and implemented.
