FIRE HYDRANTS. Each Fire Department shall have an adopted guideline that addresses fire hydrant testing and maintenance. A current valid copy of the Fire Department guideline shall be kept on file with Wake County Department of Fire and Emergency Management. FIRE HYDRANTS. Fire Hydrants (Hydrants) shall be of 5-1/4" size, conforming to the standards of the American Water Works Association, AWWA Standard for Dry-Barrel Fire Hydrants for Ordinary Water Works Service, AWWA C502, latest revision, relating to fire hydrants and conforming with the Ridgewood standards.
