Fire Service Line definition

Fire Service Line means and refer to the water line dedicated exclusively for private? fire protection of a Premise and shall start at the Meter Assembly connected to the District’s Distribution System. Maintenance, repair and/or replacement of the Fire Service Line is the Customer’s responsibility. A Back Flow Device is required on all Fire Service Lines.
Fire Service Line means a Service Pipe used exclusively for fire protection purposes.
Fire Service Line means a service line delivering water from the City water distribution system to a building fire extinguishing system. Fire service lines may be located on private property or in public rights of way and are owned, operated, and maintained by the owner of the premises being served. Fire hydrants shall not be installed on Fire service lines. Refer to definition for Private Fire Protection systems.
