Flag Lots definition

Flag Lots. A flag lot is a lot so shaped that the building area (the “flag”) is not adjacent to the street or alley on which the lot fronts, and which includes an access strip (the “pole”) connecting the building area to the street or alley. Setbacks shall be applied at the enlarged area of the lot (“flag”), and all setbacksSetbacks shall be a minimum of five feet except that one side of a two‐story or taller building shall have a minimum 7’ Setback for fire access.
