Supplier will hold adequate inventory of Refined Iodized Salt and Salt Rock (of compatible technical parameters to meet specifications of Refined Iodized Salt and Salt Rock meeting the Defence Food Specification (s) during the currency of the contract to ensure assured and uninterrupted supply of the Refined Iodized Salt and Salt Rock.
The supplies conforming to the applicable Defence Food Specification as mentioned below and as revised from time to time, will be tendered by contractor at consignee Supply Depot / Supply Point as per demand placed by Officer Operating the Contract.

In the afore said period of 12 months from the date of procurement if it is discovered that Tea (CTC) supplied is not confirming to Defence Food Specification (DFS) No 461, the decision of the Buyer in that behalf shall be final and binding on me/us and the Buyer shall be entitled to call upon me/us to replace the stores or such portion there of as is found to be deteriorated by the Buyer.
Tea (CTC) supplied by me/us would continue to conform to the Defence Food Specification (DFS No 461) for Tea (CTC) for a period of 12 months from the date of procurement of the said item to the Buyer on an ‘as is where is basis’ and with a shelf life of Nine months from the date of milling.
Quality of the stores delivered shall correspond to the Defence Food Specification 312 & 313 of 2021 as applicable will be tendered against self- certification by the seller.
Quality of the stores delivered shall correspond to the relevant Defence Food Specification.
Quality of Meat Dressed Chilled/ Frozen must conform to the relevant Technical Specifications as per Defence Food Specification No 312 & 313 of 2021 respectively.
These firms/ factories/ plants will be subjected to Hygiene and Technical Inspection (as laid down in Defence Food Specification No 513 of 2019).
In case sample does not conforms to the concerned Defence Food Specification No 312 & 313 of 2021 and is rejected by the Executive Officer, considering the consumption period of tendered stock, vendor/bidder may be allowed to retender the items rejected.
