Forbearance Status definition
Forbearance Status means the temporary period of time where the Obligor's required interest and principal payments are postponed or reduced due to financial hardship in accordance with the Higher Education Act and the policies of the applicable Student Loan Guarantor.

Forbearance Status means the temporary period of time where the Borrower's required interest and principal payments are postponed or reduced due to financial hardship in accordance with (i) the Higher Education Act and the policies of the applicable Student Loan Guarantor, with respect to any Student Loan, or (ii) the TuitionGard Program or the AMS Non-Guaranteed Alternative Loan Program and the policies of the applicable Alternative Loan Guarantor, with respect to any Alternative Loan; provided, however, that the definition of "Forbearance Status" may be changed by the Issuer at any time upon satisfaction of the Rating Agency Confirmation Condition.
