Foreign Base Rate Loan definition

Foreign Base Rate Loan a Foreign Loan, or portion thereof, funded in Sterling, Dollars, Australian Dollars or Euros and bearing interest calculated by reference to the Foreign Base Rate.
Foreign Base Rate Loan means any Alternative Currency Loan bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to a Foreign Base Rate in accordance with the provisions of Article II. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, Loans may be made or maintained as Foreign Base Rate Loans only to the extent specified in Section 2.02(f), 2.08 or 2.15.
Foreign Base Rate Loan means any Loan during any period in which it bears interest based on the Foreign Base Rate.

Examples of Foreign Base Rate Loan in a sentence

  • Each determination by the Administrative Agent hereunder shall be conclusive absent manifest error and any request by such Borrower for a Eurocurrency Borrowing denominated in any Alternative Currency pursuant to Section 2.03 or 2.10 shall be deemed to be a request for a Foreign Base Rate Loan.

  • Each N.Z. Swingline Loan shall be a Bank ▇▇▇▇ Rate Loan (except to the extent required to be a Foreign Base Rate Loan as provided for herein) and, subject to the provisions of Section 2.07, shall bear interest as provided in Section 2.06(e).

  • Except for Borrowings to be made as Swingline Loans, Agent shall endeavor to notify the Applicable Lenders of each Notice of Borrowing (or deemed request for a Borrowing) by (a) 1:00 p.m. (Local Time) on the proposed funding date for a U.S. Base Rate Loan, (b) 1:00 p.m. (Local Time) at least two Business Days before a proposed funding date for a Foreign Base Rate Loan, or (c) 3:00 p.m. (Local Time) at least three Business Days before a proposed funding of an Australian Bank ▇▇▇▇ Rate Loan or a LIBOR Loan.

  • Except for Swingline Loans, Agent shall endeavor to notify Lenders of each Notice of Borrowing (or deemed request for a Borrowing) by 1:00 p.m. on the proposed funding date for a Base Rate Loan or by 3:00 p.m. two Business Days before a proposed funding of a Foreign Base Rate Loan or a LIBOR Loan.

  • Foreign Loan: a Loan made by Foreign Lenders to Foreign Borrowers pursuant to Section 2.1.1(b), which Loan shall be denominated in Sterling, Dollars, Australian Dollars or Euros and either an Interest Period Loan, a Foreign Base Rate Loan or, with respect to Loans denominated in Australian Dollars only, an Australian Bank ▇▇▇▇ Rate Loan, and including any Foreign Swingline Loan, Foreign Overadvance Loan, Foreign Protective Advance and deemed Loan advanced under Section 2.3.2(a).
