Foreign use. A program may be distributed for worldwide use with a payment of 45% of scale; or, the Producer may elect to release the program only in certain “areas” with the following payments: Area 1 – England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and the island of Cyprus: 20% of scale. Area 2 – All European countries, including Iceland, excluding Area 1: 10% of scale. Area 3 – Africa and adjacent islands, including Madagascar: 5% of scale. Area 4 – Asia, Australia, and adjacent Pacific and Indian Ocean islands: 5% of scale. Area 5Central America, South America, Mexico, Greenland, the Caribbean Islands, and all other islands adjacent to the American continents: 5% of scale.
Foreign use means any use, consumption, or disposition that is not within the US
