Forest Stand definition

Forest Stand means a contiguous group of trees sufficiently uniform in age class distribution, composition, and structure, and growing on a site of sufficiently uniform quality, to be a distinguishable unit.
Forest Stand means a contiguous group of trees of the same species, general age or ages, and condition so that such group constitutes a homogeneous and distinguishable unit.
Forest Stand means that part of a Woodland that is a contiguous group of trees sufficiently uniform in species composition, arrangement of age classes and condition to be a homogeneous and distinguishable unit for forest management purposes.
