Forms of Discipline definition

Forms of Discipline means all other behavior interventions strategies used in response to a behavior violation that do not exclude the student from the instructional setting. These other forms of discipline are used at the discretion of the educator in accordance with the District and building student discipline policies. The highest consideration shall be given to the judgement of educators regarding conditions necessary to maintain the optimum learning atmosphere. Possible examples may include behavioral health supports, behavior monitoring, student mentoring, peer mediation, restorative justice, and social skills instruction.

  • Other forms of discipline means actions used in response to problem behaviors and behavioral violations, other than classroom exclusion, suspension, expulsion, or emergency expulsion, which may involve the use of best practices and strategies included in the state menu for behavior developed under RCW 28A.165.035.

  • Severe forms of trafficking in persons means— (1) Sex trafficking in which a commercial sex act is induced by force, fraud, or coercion, or in which the person induced to perform such act has not attained 18 years of age; or

Design Criteria Packages shall require firms to submit information regarding the qualifications, availability, and past work of the firms, including the partners and members thereof.

  • diagram means a diagram as defined in the Land Survey Act, 1997 (Act No. 8 of 1997);

  • Race or ethnicity means of a particular descent, including Caucasian, African, Hispanic, Asian, or Native American descent.

  • Timelines means the dates set out in Appendix 2 hereto as may be amended by agreement between the Parties and Timeline shall mean any one of such dates.

  • KPIs means the performance measurements and targets set out in Part 3 of Schedule 1 (Services) of this Framework Agreement;

  • Service Descriptions means user manuals and other documentation relating to the Services that are made available to Customer by Provider in digital or hardcopy form, as updated from time to time.
