Freshwater Lake definition

Freshwater Lake means any body of fresh water that has permanent open water with a surface area that is more than an quarter of an acre, excluding man-made ornamental lakes or ponds and all types of pollution treatment lagoons.*
Freshwater Lake means any inland pond, reservoir, impoundment, or other similar body of water that has recreational value, that exhibits no oceanic and tidal influences, and that has a total dissolved solids concentration of less than one percent.
