The Coordinator is the legal entity acting as the intermediary between the Parties and the Funding Authority.
The Parties, having considerable experience in the field concerned, have submitted a proposal for the Project to the Funding Authority as part of the Horizon 2020 – the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020), call H2020-LC-CLA-04-2018 “Resilience and sustainable reconstruction of historic areas to cope with climate change and hazard events”.
The Parties wish to specify or supplement binding commitments among themselves in addition to the provisions of the specific Grant Agreement (No. 820999) to be signed by the Parties and the Funding Authority (hereinafter “Grant Agreement”).
If - the Grant Agreement is not signed by the Funding Authority or a Party, or - the Grant Agreement is terminated, or - a Party's participation in the Grant Agreement is terminated, this Consortium Agreement shall automatically terminate in respect of the affected Party/ies, subject to the provisions surviving the expiration or termination under Section 3.3 of this Consortium Agreement.
The financial contribution of the Funding Authority to the Project shall be distributed by the Coordinator according to: - the Consortium Plan - the approval of reports by the Funding Authority, and - the provisions of payment in Section 7.3. A Party shall be funded only for its tasks carried out in accordance with the Consortium Plan.
