Galileo System definition

Galileo System means the computerized global electronic distribution systems operated by Galileo for providing information and reservation booking services to the travel industry, including the collection, storage, processing, communication, display and distribution of information regarding travel-related products and services.
Galileo System means (i) the Galileo Computer System and (ii) the network of computer hardware, including central processing hardware and network hardware from the central site up to and including the Gateway Router, or such other connecting point in the Territory as may be agreed between Galileo and Distributor pursuant to Section 5 hereto.

  • Yatra shall not intentionally make any flight, hotel, rail, cruise, rental car or other reservation on the Galileo System without a specific customer request made in good faith and shall not make any reservations which are abusive, speculative, fictitious or duplicative.

  • Yatra shall take all precautions to prevent any unauthorised use of the Galileo System and the Software, and any user sign-on identity assigned to Yatra.

  • Accordingly, AGP shall provide Subscriber access to the Galileo System for the sole purpose of emulating Other Agencies that use the Galileo System and routing bookings to Ticketing Agencies that use the Galileo System.

Additional components which function with the system are considered integral parts of the system.

  • Production System means a live SAP system used for running Licensee’s internal business operations and where Licensee’s data is recorded.

  • Cabinet x-ray system means an x-ray system with the x-ray tube installed in an enclosure independent of existing architectural structures except the floor on which it may be placed. The cabinet x-ray system is intended to contain at least that portion of a material being irradiated, provide radiation attenuation, and exclude personnel from its interior during generation of radiation. Included are all x-ray systems designed primarily for the inspection of carry-on baggage at airline, railroad, and bus terminals, and in similar facilities. An x-ray tube used within a shielded part of a building, or x-ray equipment that may temporarily or occasionally incorporate portable shielding, is not considered a cabinet x-ray system.

  • TARGET2 System means the Trans-European Automated Real-Time Gross Settlement Express Transfer (TARGET2) system or any successor thereto.

  • System Software means Software that provides the operating and management instructions for the underlying hardware and other components, and is identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Systems Software. Such System Software includes, but is not restricted to, micro-code embedded in hardware (i.e., “firmware”), operating systems, communications, system and network management, and utility software.

  • Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) means a switched network service that provides end-to-end digital connectivity for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data.
