Game Software definition

Game Software means network games listed in Exhibit A and also includes game patches (upgrades to functions or maps) if mentioned in this Agreement. This game software can connect to a network’s Service-end Software after installing User-end Software, allowing for one user to play the game together with other users.
Game Software mentioned in this Agreement shall include all the patches, updates and revisions mentioned above.
Game Software means any and all Intellectual Property, Software, Preexisting Code, tools, engines, documentation and/or other programs (i) that are included in or related to the Games; and (ii) that are licensed to or developed (in whatever stage of development) by or on behalf of a Company Party.

Examples of Game Software in a sentence

  • All use of the Game Software is subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and the Terms of Use, both of which you must accept before you can use your Account to play the Software Product.

  • The media on or method by which the Game Software is distributed may contain additional software and/or content for which you do not have a license (the "Locked Software"), and you agree that Hi-Rez may install the Locked Software onto your computer or applicable hardware device during the Game Software installation process.

  • You may install the Game Software on multiple computers and/or applicable hardware devices owned by you or under your legitimate control, but you may only play the Software Product on one computer or one applicable hardware device at any single point in time.

  • Hi-Rez, or its third party vendors, may update the Software Product remotely, including, without limitation, the Game Software residing on the user’s machine, without the knowledge of the user, and you hereby grant to Hi- Rez your consent to deploy and apply such patches, updates, and modifications.

  • Neither the Products nor any of its Game Software shall be exported or re-exported in violation of any export provisions of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction.

  • The Game Software shall only be used on a single Product at one time.

  • Buyer shall not transfer or distribute the Game Software or the License to others, except that Buyer may transfer to only the customer purchasing or using the Product a sublicense for that Product only to use the Game Software embedded in the Product on the terms and conditions set forth herein.

  • The entire risk arising out of use or performance of the Software Product and Service (including, without limitation, the Game Software, the Manual(s), and Documentation) remains with the user.

  • Your installation and use of any updates or modifications to the Game Software or your continued use of the Game Software following notice of changes to this Agreement will constitute your acceptance of any and all such changes to the terms of this Agreement.

  • Subject to your agreement to and full ongoing compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Hi-Rez hereby grants to you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to (a) install one copy of the Game Software on one or more computers and/or applicable hardware devices owned by you or under your legitimate control, and (b) use the Game Software in conjunction with the Service solely for your lawful and non-commercial entertainment purposes.


More Definitions of Game Software

Game Software means the online games listed in Attachment A hereof, and when mentioned in this Agreement, the patches thereto (upgraded functions and maps) as well. Such games, once the Software at User’s Terminal is installed, may be connected to the Internet’s Software at Server and played by one or more users.
Game Software means MU Online and all its upgraded versions (executable versions only), including all programs, arithmetic, technology, processing, methods and other information contained therein and the materials and intellectual property rights incidental thereto or incorporated therein.
Game Software refers to the set of files released by the Licensor under this license and clearly marked as such. This may include source files, 3d models, textures, build scripts, executables, and documentation. Licensor grants to you the non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right and license to install and use the Game Software at any given time solely for non-commercial use (the “License”). All rights not specifically granted under this License are hereby reserved by the Licensor. The Game Software is licensed to you, not sold. This License does not give you any title or ownership in the Game Software, and should not be construed as a sale or transfer of any intellectual property or other rights to the Game Software. Game Software means the online game developed by Shengqu, known as the World of Legend version 1.5, which can be played by a user with other users by installing the Client Software onto a user's computer and then accessing to the Server Software connected to the Internet. For the purpose of this Agreement, "Game Software" also includes five (5) game patches (upgrades of functions or maps) and the complimentary World of Legend version 1.

Related to Game Software

  • Oracle Software means any software agent, application or tool that Oracle makes available to You for download specifically for purposes of facilitating Your access to, operation of, and/or use with, the Services.

  • Licensed Software includes error corrections, upgrades, enhancements or new releases, and any deliverables due under a maintenance or service contract (e.g., patches, fixes, PTFs, programs, code or data conversion, or custom programming).

  • SAP Software means: (i) any and all software products and Cloud Services licensed to Customer under the License Agreement as specified in software order forms or Cloud Service Order Forms (or other order forms, schedules or appendices as applicable) thereto; (ii) any new releases, updates or versions thereof made available through unrestricted shipment pursuant to the respective support agreement or warranty obligation and (iii) any complete or partial copies of any of the foregoing.

  • Supplier Software means software which is proprietary to the Supplier or its Affiliates which is used or supplied by the Supplier in the provision of the Services; Supplier Staff means all persons employed or engaged by the Supplier together with the Supplier's servants, agents, suppliers, consultants and Sub-Contractors (and all persons employed by any Sub-Contractor together with the Sub-Contractor’s servants, consultants, agents, suppliers and Sub-Contractors) used in the performance of its obligations under this Contract; Time and Materials means the pricing mechanism for the Services as may be agreed by the Parties and set out at paragraph Error: Reference source not found in the SOW; TUPE means the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/246) as amended or replaced or any other regulations or UK legislation implementing the Acquired Rights Directive; Velocity means the Metric which measures the total number of Story Points for Stories that have been accepted in a Sprint, indicating the rate of progress towards Acceptance of all Stories from the Product Backlog;

  • Service Software means any and all software applications and any third-party or other software, and all new versions, updates, revisions, improvements and modifications of the foregoing, that Contractor provides remote access to and use of as part of the Services.

  • Embedded Software means one or more software applications which permanently reside on a computing device.

  • Custom Software means Software identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Custom Software.

  • Font Software means the software provided by Branding with Type which, when used on an appropriate Device or Devices, generates typeface and typographic designs and ornaments. Font Software shall include all bitmap representations of typeface and typographic designs and ornaments created by or derived from the Font Software. Font Software includes upgrades, updates, related files, permitted copies, permitted conversions, and related documentation.

  • Customer Software means software which is owned by or licensed to the Customer;

  • Public Software means any Software that contains, or is derived in any manner (in whole or in part) from, any software that is distributed as free software, open source software (e.g., Linux) or similar licensing or distribution models, including, without limitation, software licensed or distributed under any of the following licenses or distribution models, or licenses or distribution models similar to any of the following: (A) GNU’s General Public License (GPL) or Lesser/Library GPL (LGPL), (B) the Artistic License (e.g., PERL), (C) the Mozilla Public License, (D) the Netscape Public License, (E) the Sun Community Source License (SCSL), (F) the Sun Industry Standards License (SISL), (G) the BSD License, and (H) the Apache License.

  • Developed Software means software specifically designed for the Principal under the Contract. Depending how advanced its development is, it may be either a Product or a Service or both.

  • System Software means Software that provides the operating and management instructions for the underlying hardware and other components, and is identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Systems Software. Such System Software includes, but is not restricted to, micro-code embedded in hardware (i.e., “firmware”), operating systems, communications, system and network management, and utility software.

  • Hosted Software means the software owned and controlled by Vendor or Vendor’s third-party contractor that supports the Hosted Software Services.

  • Supported Software means the supported software identified in the Proposal. System means the designated information technology environment in which the Software is to be used. Term means the term of this Agreement specified in clause 2.

  • Tyler Software means our proprietary software, including any integrations, custom modifications, and/or other related interfaces identified in the Investment Summary and licensed by us to you through this Agreement. • “we”, “us”, “our” and similar terms mean Xxxxx. • “you” and similar terms mean Client.

  • Software Updates means the Software releases, service packs, build updates or emergency fixes released from time to time in accordance with the Vocera’s update policy for such Software.

  • Client Software means software that allows a Device to access or utilize the services or functionality provided by the Server Software.

  • Business Software means with respect to a Licensor, all Software to the extent Controlled by such Licensor or any of its Affiliates as of the Effective Date, which Software is reasonably required as of the Effective Date for the conduct of (i) the Agriculture Business if the Licensee is AgCo, including as listed on section (i) of Schedule Q, or (ii) the Materials Science Business if the Licensee is MatCo, including as listed on section (ii) of Schedule Q, in each case (in respect of the foregoing (i) and (ii)), only if and to the extent such Licensee and its Affiliates have not been granted a license or other rights to use such Software under the Separation Agreement or any other Ancillary Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Business Software expressly excludes any and all Excluded IP.

  • Third Party Software means software which is proprietary to any third party (other than an Affiliate of the Contractor) which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.

  • Software Update means a release of Software, in object code form, or firmware, which provides minor fixes, improvements and modifications to the Software or Equipment. Kodak software releases that are designated as updates will be identified A.B.x where the x designates the release as a Software Update.

  • Server Software means software that provides services or functionality on a computer acting as a server.

  • Computer Hardware and Software means, with respect to any Debtor, all of such Debtor's rights (including rights as licensee and lessee) with respect to (i) computer and other electronic data processing hardware, including all integrated computer systems, central processing units, memory units, display terminals, printers, computer elements, card readers, tape drives, hard and soft disk drives, cables, electrical supply hardware, generators, power equalizers, accessories, peripheral devices and other related computer hardware; (ii) all software programs designed for use on the computers and electronic data processing hardware described in clause (i) above, including all operating system software, utilities and application programs in whatsoever form (source code and object code in magnetic tape, disk or hard copy format or any other listings whatsoever); (iii) any firmware associated with any of the foregoing; and (iv) any documentation for hardware, software and firmware described in clauses (i), (ii) and (iii) above, including flow charts, logic diagrams, manuals, specifications, training materials, charts and pseudo codes.

  • Open Source Software means any Software that is subject to or licensed, provided or distributed under, any license meeting the Open Source Definition (as promulgated by the Open Source Initiative as of the date of this Agreement) or the Free Software Definition (as promulgated by the Free Software Foundation as of the date of this Agreement) or any similar license for “free,” “publicly available” or “open source” Software, including the GNU General Public License, the Lesser GNU General Public License, the Apache License, the BSD License, Mozilla Public License (MPL), and the MIT License.

  • Seller Software means all material Software owned or licensed by the Seller or used by the Seller in the operation of the Seller’s Business.

  • Software Product means any COTS which you propose to provide pursuant to the contract.

  • Owned Software means all computer, software or firmware programs, modules or libraries owned or purported to be owned by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.
