Gear oil definition
Gear oil means oil used to lubricate gears, axles, or some manual transmissions;
Gear oil means a lubricant made specifically for transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials in automobiles, trucks, and other machinery. Open gear lubricants are used in open gears. Open gears are exposed to challenging conditions include outdoor environment, extended service operation, dust, silica, water, extreme heat and extreme pressures.
