General Conditions Items consisting of other items provided by the Construction Manager necessary to manage the Project and preapproved by the Owner, including and limited to: (a) Reasonable costs, including transportation, installation, maintenance, dismantling and removal of materials, supplies, temporary facilities, machinery, equipment, and hand tools not customarily owned by the construction workers, which are provided by the Construction Manager at the site and fully consumed in the performance of the Work; and cost less salvage value on such items not fully consumed, whether sold to others or retained by the Construction Manager. If there is salvage value, the Construction Manager shall use its best efforts to provide the Owner with a savings in the Construction Cost by selling the items. If such items are retained by the Construction Manager, the Construction Cost shall be reduced by fair market value of the item that has salvage value. Cost for items previously used by the Construction Manager shall mean fair market value. (b) Reasonable rental charges for temporary facilities, machinery, equipment, and hand tools not customarily owned by the construction workers, which are provided by the Construction Manager at the site, whether rented from the Construction Manager or others, and costs of transportation, installation, minor repairs and replacements, dismantling and removal thereof. Rates and quantities of equipment rented shall be subject to the Owner’s prior approval. (c) Reasonable costs of removal of debris from the site. (d) Reasonable reproduction costs, facsimile transmissions and long-distance telephone calls, postage and express delivery charges, telephone service at the site and reasonable xxxxx cash expenses of the site office. (e) That portion of the reasonable travel and subsistence expenses of the Construction Manager’s personnel incurred while traveling away from the Project Site in discharge of duties connected with the Work. (f) Sales, use or similar taxes imposed by a governmental authority which are related to the Work and for which the Construction Manager is liable. (g) Fees and assessments for any permits, licenses and inspections for which the Construction Manager is required by the Contract Documents to pay (except those costs which arise as a result of the Construction Manager’s failure to proceed in accordance with the Standard of Care applicable to this Agreement or nonconforming Work, in which case, such costs shall be paid by Construction Man...
General Conditions Items means all of the materials and equipment to be provided by Contractor in connection with supervision and administration of the Work, including all items necessary for execution of the Work such as, but not limited to, site trailers, office supplies, computers, IT, internet and other computer software and hardware, telephone, facsimile, postage, photos, photocopying, equipment, safety equipment, hand tools, simple scaffolds, tool breakage, tool repairs and replacement, pre- approved travel, lodging, parking costs, site transportation, bond and insurance premiums, and other costs and expenses incurred that are necessary for execution of the Work that cannot be allocated to any particular trade, including without limitation, all items listed on Exhibit I attached hereto.

More Definitions of General Conditions Items

General Conditions Items means the following, whether they are performed by Subcontractors or provided directly by Contractor through its own forces and resources: (a) Site, building, and interior layout, including providing datum bench for the use of all Subcontractors, establishing and maintaining building corner and column line control points, and layout of interior partitions after concrete slab is in place; (b) Removal of debris from the Project Site, including containers, trucking and disposal; (c) Site and street cleaning and final cleanup; (d) Field office(s) and related supplies, equipment and furnishings; (e) Drinking water, ice and cups for all of Contractor's personnel and all Subcontractors; (f) Temporary power, lighting and utilities including hook-ups, distribution and removals to the extent identified as Contractor's responsibility in the Specifications, (Walmart will directly pay monthly usage charges for utilities consumed during the period of construction and costs identified as the responsibility of Subcontractors in the Specifications shall be included in the Cost of the Work other than General Conditions Items); (g) Temporary fences, walkways, traffic control and barricades; (h) Project signs; (i) Temporary roads and employee parking; (j) Protection and safety measures and OSHA requirements; (k) costs of telegrams, and long-distance telephone calls, postage and parcel delivery charges, facsimile, radio/communications systems and equipment, and telephone service at the Project Site and reasonable xxxxx cash expenses of the Project Site office,.

Related to General Conditions Items

  • General Conditions means the “International Development Association General Conditions for Credits and Grants”, dated July 1, 2005 (as amended through October 15, 2006).

  • Abnormal Condition means any condition on the Interconnection Facilities which, determined in accordance with Good Utility Practice, is: (i) outside normal operating parameters such that facilities are operating outside their normal ratings or that reasonable operating limits have been exceeded; and (ii) could reasonably be expected to materially and adversely affect the safe and reliable operation of the Interconnection Facilities; but which, in any case, could reasonably be expected to result in an Emergency Condition. Any condition or situation that results from lack of sufficient generating capacity to meet load requirements or that results solely from economic conditions shall not, standing alone, constitute an Abnormal Condition.

  • Conditions of Use means these terms and conditions as may be varied by us from time to time.

  • Residential construction means construction on single-family or two-family dwellings occupied or used, or intended to be occupied or used, primarily for residential purposes, and includes real property pursuant to chapter 499B.

For the PJM Region, the Minimum Extended Summer Resource Requirement shall be equal to the RTO Reliability Requirement minus [the Limited Demand Resource Reliability Target for the PJM Region in Unforced Capacity]. For an LDA, the Minimum Extended Summer Resource Requirement shall be equal to the LDA Reliability Requirement minus [the LDA CETL] minus [the Limited Demand Resource Reliability Target for such LDA in Unforced Capacity]. The LDA CETL may be adjusted pro rata for the amount of load served under the FRR Alternative.

  • Punchlist Items means any items necessary at the time of the issuance of a temporary certificate of occupancy to complete fully the renovation of the Project Facilities in accordance with the Plans and Specifications for the Project Facilities, or required for the issuance of a final certificate of occupancy or its equivalent.

  • Caribbean Basin country construction material means a construction material that—

  • Emergency medical condition means a medical condition manifesting itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) so that a prudent layperson, who possesses an average knowledge of health and medicine, could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in a condition described in clause (i), (ii), or (iii) of section 1867(e)(1)(A) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395dd(e)(1)(A)). In that provision of the Social Security Act, clause (i) refers to placing the health of the individual (or, with respect to a pregnant woman, the health of the woman or her unborn child) in serious jeopardy; clause (ii) refers to serious impairment to bodily functions; and clause (iii) refers to serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part.

  • Acquisition and Construction Fund means the fund so designated in, and created pursuant to, Section 502 hereof.
